Bad day for me
Good day in Boots
I had a hospital appointment this morning and was told that the 2 bones in my foot I had operated on in December have not yet fused
I now have to wait another 2 months to see what happens:mad:
Might mean another operation, not sure I can face that but I'll have no choice!
God knows when I'll get back to work!
Anyway Dr recommened flight socks instead of tubigrip so off I went to Boots on the way home!
Got 2 pairs flight socks reduced to £9.99 (?no vouchers for these?)
Collapsable walking stick (better than crutches)
And best of all 2 photo albums that I had looked at on Saturday but forgot to buy in my haste to use up my No7 vouchers.
They were £6 each and BOGOF .........today £3 each and still BOGOF:j :j :j:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
Not such great news about your foot Dotchas but as they say every cloud has a silver linning, lots more time for bootsing and your oh looking after you."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroepinkladymel wrote: »she hasn't lost the ol' Bootsing magic

Thanks:beer:
I am down today but will bounce back tomorrow hopefully!
I just hope I don't need another OP.
I was in plaster for 9 weeks and had to use a wheelchair to get out!
I'll just have to face it if it happens.....plenty time to check out MSE!
I need to pack for the weekend as we are going away for Easter ,which of my lovely boots goodies will I take??????????????????????
Might need a trailer!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
when i was shopping on saturday two lovely young assistants stopped me to ask what my views about boots staff and the other staff working in the store
i said most of the boots staff were lovely but the ladies on no7 counter were a bit... i didn't finish when they said it for me "bossy and stuck up" and full of themselves!
yes i replied
they smiled, laughed and thanked me for my comments, wrote it on their survey and off they went
is this boots cs finally asking their customers what staff they have and trying to weed out the nasty, unhelpful ones (who don't do the store any favours when it comes to customer care)
lets hope we end getting greeted with smiles and politeness soon even if it is under their breathe

I am thinking about writing a letter to them, but I doubt I will receive a response. Have been waiting approx a week and a half, for an email response. When I ring they take my number and say someone will call you back and guess what never happens!! I might keep emailing the same thing every week and see if that makes a difference:mad:
I e-mailed them a few weeks ago and got a response approx 8 days later but it was a standard response, not really addressing the points I had raised in my e-mail.
I then wrote them a letter telling them how disappointed I was etc and re-iterating the original points in the e-mail, mainly about points they owed me from an online order but also took the opportunity of pointing out the appalling attitude of some of their staff....
I did receive a personalised response, some 10 days later saying they would take up the staff attitude with the stores concerned and they send me points vouchers to be added instore, £20.00 worth extra over and above what they owed me.
Worth the wait I guess but a lot of hassle having to write a letter, would be much better if they were able to respond correctly via e-mail. I pointed this out to them in the letter but they didnt mention it in their response. It is good that they offer points and vouchers to recompense but seems silly to me that they dont seem to attempt torectify the problems also !!

Seems like I am having a similar problem to you. They owe me points from an online order which they first added, then removed. I returned one item on an order, and they deducted the full amount of points from the whole order when the item I returned was faulty and was only worth £15, and my whole order came to about £70.  I phoned, no joy and have sent about 3 emails and still no reply.
I also complained about the attitude of some staff in the email I sent as some SA are total b****es IMO. When I went to return an item which I bought online to a boots store, I wasted 45 minutes being sent from floor to floor, till to till to be told that I had no right to return an item to them when I bought it online. This was despite the fact that I had called CS before I went and they provided me with a reference number and confirmed that I could.
Then I returned the next day and demanded to speak to a manager, he took the item back and accussed me of trying to scam points?!? What?? Even though I had printed of the email confirmation so he could remove the points from my card.
ok rant over!!All men hear is blah, blah, blah, blah, SEX, blah, blah, blah, FOOD, blah, blah, blah, BEER:wall:0
