bad day for me ! Horrible day! miserable day!
-limped into town because new shoes i had last week have caused blisters on foot so off i trot to boots , as soon as i went in i spot the no7 counter and 2 more lipstick bags so i grabbed those and sneaked off not wanting to pay at the no7 counter and then remebered 342 so grabbed a concealer which i was wnating to stock up on anyway.Looked at all the foot items by scholl but they are expensive £3.99 for a pack but put 1 in my basket as it was an emergency then found a clearance-It was like karma foot items were reduced found sachets of scholl blister plasters reduced to£1.12 so grabbed 3 and a boots gorgeous footcare kit £1.32 plus enriching foot care cream (put the first £3.99 pack back) also found reduced nivea body moisturiser at £1.12 and a few other bits tried to be clever and went and paid for these at pharmacy guess what debit card got declined! so dug some coins out of bottom of bag and paid for those.Big q and didn't want to be embarassed further so decided to pay for the no7 stuff with points-its not 342 says Sa with lipstick bags so had to pay full price for 3 items which came to about £20ish.
Stopped at another boots store to exchange some clothes that my auntie had given my little one, they came to £8.50 couldn't find any in a suitable size so swapped for a baby toy-got a nasty stuck up Sa who scanned the item and it came up reduced so she insisted i get some other items to match the difference big q again so i grabbed nearest thing pack of wrigleys extra and sanctuary handwash!
Came back home with £2.96 left on advantage card and a load of stuff which i don't want to look at now.Feel terribel- last week i had £90 in points and i splurged it all on perfumes because of the 10% of £30 ac voucher now nothing.
To make things worse a lippy bag i sold on ebay went to a non paying bidder who doesn't want it now!
to make thing even more worse-theres a sale in river island on shoes and they have gorgeous bags in aswell(and i am skint till next week)Love can tame the wildest0 -

Cs rang me earlier, my letter has arrived and is being forwarded to the area manager to deal with, but cos i cc'd to the ceo, they are probably being extra careful. Is good of them to keep me informed along the way though:T Lol will probably get another 100 points as apology but feel much better for letting head office know what awful staff there are here.
Am sending my mum in tomorrow, i'll be waiting outside:o ive got a list of instructions but has anyone else got any handy tips for a first timer? I made her do the Botanics glitch in january (as training lol) but she spent ages at the till and got a bit flustered, but is ready for any sa that dares pounce on her. Mum used to work in shops and customer service places years ago and had to deal with some weird people (such as a deaf man who rang up for advice) so a boots sa should be a drop in the ocean. I may go in with her if im feeling brave enough:eek:0 -
My advantage card died and I won't get a replacement for 2-3 weeks
There'd better not be any good new ACM offers until then.

Hiya - Thanks for letting us know what's happening - Great that it is being taken seriously by the 'HO' :T
I think you should go into Boots - remember that YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!!! Don't let them intimidate you - you have the right to shop where you like!!!.

Hi there,
I'm pretty new to this thread but I am very willing to learn!
I just bought 342 No pink bags and took the serum and the points vouchers out to use. My shock came when I realised that the vouchers expired at the end of January !!!
Is there anything I can do?
Also, can anyone advise me what the best Origins items are to buy to make most of the 750 points?
Thanks in advance!0 -
