Has anyone else used a card which has been activated for the 10% discount when over 60? I've got my dad to sign up to an AC and now to the Health Club to get the discount... it says he'll get a voucher which he has to take into store with proof of age to get it activated, then the card will recognised 10% off all Boots brand stuff. Does this flash up on tills as I considered using his card for No7 purchases then... or am I going to have to convince my daddy to go buy it for me ;)

Right did my first boots trip today, was wondering if I did it right
I did it in two different transactions

1st: 2 x no 7 firm body balm 6.00 (sorry pound sign not working on my computer)
    2 x no 7 face cream 6.00

    1 x wrap

    1 x cucumber cleanser bar 0.89p

This came to 7.89 using a no7 voucher

    2nd: 2 x no 7 firm body balm 6.00
    2 x no 7 no 7 face cream 6.00

    1 x relax body wash 2.99
    1 x botanics me shaving gel 3.00
    1 x botanics mens face wash 2.25

    1 x sanctuary bath foam 4.50
    1 x sanctuary body scrub 4.50
    1 x sanctuary pamper bag

I managed to use a 2.00 voucher and my no 7 5.00 voucher, bringing the total to pay to 22.24

    I am left with:

    1 x 2.00 luxury bathing range voucher
1 x 3.00 sanctuary spas skincare range (from magazine)
    1 x 5.00 no 7 voucher
1 x santuary spa perfect skin from pamper bag

Was wondering what is the best way to use these remaining vouchers? Think it will take me a while to become a professional booting queen, like you lot :rotfl:

    Boots - Monday 19th March - Saturday 7 April
Your choice of gifts from Clinique, (free with purchase of any two or more Clinique products)

The Clinique site says this promotion will run from 22nd, not 19th, so if, like me, you have to drive some distance to a store with Clinique, it might be worth a phone call first.

From what I've seen you can only update details on it, not cancel...

Used up 3 of my No7 vouchers today... got:

*No7 facial massager £4.99, so free
*No7 Quick Dry Body Spray Tanning, reduced to £5 so free
*No7 instant summer shimmer gel, reduced to £5, so free

Done in 3 transactions as vouchers only used one at a time, in 2 stores (one has a small selection of reduced stuff, other has the electricals).

Didn't fancy the eyelash curlers, and not sure how kindly friends will take to me giving them the hair trimmers, doesn't really say "beautify" as much as something a little more pampering like the massager :rotfl:

Also got a 5day detox set reduced to £7.15, used 500points voucher from mag. New SA forgot to give me another £5 voucher, but accidentally gave me my No7 voucher and the 500points mag voucher back in the bag with my goodies :D

Hi C00kie, on catching up with all the posts today, it appears that everyone is finding that the suncare is reduced. Is this in all stores, or has anyone found that theyre not reduced anywhere??

I was last in my local store sunday afternoon, where everything had gone N07 wise. I had had a bad weekend and had gone to try and cheer myself up and spend my 3 £5 vouchers. I bought my sis in laws Bday pressie, purfume she wanted which happened to be on offer, and r'cvd another £5 voucher. On looking, everything had gone, so I went to the suncare section, but only picked up 2 x glossy hair sprays, which are still at £5.50, 50p to pay after the £5.

I am thinking of nipping in tomorrow, before the weekend rush (especially with people shopping for last min mums day pressies), and I may ask about the suncare if its reduced. Not really needing anymore, but if the Body tanning Spray is reduced, I may get one of those. Presume these to be the selftan bottles that arent on BOGOF?? Am wanting another pedicure set if theyve replenished theyre stock. Also wanting the hydration daycream, but am hoping I can get my pigsback voucher before the no7 £5 vouchers run out and buy it with them and the 250 points voucher from wrap.( tho the way my luck has been recently, I doubt it will go my way!!)
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

    Pickle number 3 arrived 24th december 2007 :A
  • well,I rang C.S..they were v sweet actually;1st girl passed me onto her senior after hearing out in full..they both made all the right noises.Said to send them my receipts&they'd put the points on.Said a complaint would be passed on & taken seriously..dunno if I'll hear any more tho.Gave me what may be useful info;1/2 price suncare is NOT national,it's at managers discretion as is BOGOF on sale stuff, paying with R&M £5 vouchers for reduced stuff is also at m's disc & you don't get points for paying with vouchers,or are able to use vouchers for things always as the AC is already considered an offer.you can't use points vouchers when you're paying by points either, pooh!Anyway,I know some of these Q's are prob obvious but there you are, hth.thanks again x

  • Bargain_Hunter77- if i were you i would log on to the Boots site, change the address your Dad's card is registered to to your address. Then you can tell him its cancelled, he'll never get any more mailings and so never know that you are still using it to get more offers / vouchers / points :D

I went to small Boots yesterday:
    1 x Sanctuary hand cream (£5 i think)
    1 x Sanctuary warming mask thing (£9.95)
    1 x weekend bag (FREE)
    baby gros (£2 clearance)
    baby wipes (£1.99 BOGOF)

Used £3 skincare magazine voucher, £2 bathing voucher from wrap and £5 skincare voucher (which some kind person on here sent me ;) ) so total of £10 taken off Sanctuary purchases + free bag :D = about £9 to pay

I wonder if hand cream counted as 'bathing'? If not, then it seems you can use £2 bathing voucher and it comes off the weekend bag (counting it as £10 even though its free :p )

I am going to Ikea tonight and so will go to next door Boots. Will check out suncare prices.

Also want the free huggies bag for friend. Whats the best nappies to buy for this offer please? Still have No7 parenting voucher to use too but can't decide what to buy :o

Think suncare reduced on Wednesday, dont think the hair spritz did, but the suncare previously at £11.50 and such seems to have dropped to £6. Some mentioned that their No7 stuff is half price but still BOGOF, and littleredheadedgirl'75 found out this is at managers discretion.

Why cant my local manager agree to that... *pout* it's a guessing game for prices, and you can't pull a disappointed face that you wont get the wrap as you're meant to do the cheery face of "oh its cheaper" lol
