The £11.50 suncream is now scanning at £6....couldn't get the wrap..also we had the max factor box in the basket making our way to the till and a woman came out of nowhere and just took the box out of our basket and said"You need to spend £15 to get that free"..She was so rude she didn't even look if we had any MF products in our basket as we had a few items in there...Then the lady on the till had an attitude as I had a boots mag I wanted to put back as my friend had forgot boots card and so I was looking around and she snatched it off me and threw it on the counter next to her...I was mad..I told her I would put it back if she told me where the stand was as I had picked it up upstairs and I was downstairs...I said "There's no need to throw it I will put it back"...
I haven't been to boots for a long time for any bargains and it's put me off now altogether...At least I saved some money

What a shocking attitude i had one with a similar one on Tues Evening asking what i was doing with 2 cards, i explained 1 was my sisters he said well what are you doing with it then, i explained i often get her shopping with it. Appalling felt like a criminal even more so when said vouchers had printed off in another persons name, Said I Don't think so not heard that 1 before.

Doesn't it put you off !!

last Fri i tried the mediterranean voucher with the same prob as an earlier poster.rang CS when i got in and was told that the pregnancy range had been discontinued and after speaking to a senior advisor she said she'd get more info.she rang back yesterday and has been trying to contact the parenting club abt it but they won't pick up.so we don't know as yet what the voucher can be used for.

Used up 3 of my No7 vouchers today... got:

*No7 facial massager £4.99, so free
*No7 Quick Dry Body Spray Tanning, reduced to £5 so free
*No7 instant summer shimmer gel, reduced to £5, so free

Done in 3 transactions as vouchers only used one at a time, in 2 stores (one has a small selection of reduced stuff, other has the electricals).

Didn't fancy the eyelash curlers, and not sure how kindly friends will take to me giving them the hair trimmers, doesn't really say "beautify" as much as something a little more pampering like the massager :rotfl:

Also got a 5day detox set reduced to £7.15, used 500points voucher from mag. New SA forgot to give me another £5 voucher, but accidentally gave me my No7 voucher and the 500points mag voucher back in the bag with my goodies :D

His name is Roger or Robert (I know it began with an R:confused: ) I think he is weekend staff (I've only ever seen him there at weekends) on the normal tills, near the tube entrance. My favourite SA at Kensington is a guy on the Pharmacy. I must start paying upstairs when he isn't around. Can you give us a discription of the nice SA who took all your vouchers? I like the sound of her:rotfl:

Her name was Norma, black woman, not seen her before but she was really friendly and chatty, don't think she was new as I actually asked about those baskets with trays and she said they'd used to have them but not any more and giggled when I commented how useful they were (was holding the lipliner i was about to get free and didn't want to loose thru bars!) The older grey haired woman upstairs takes my vouchers but checks each one twice before scanning, and then if one bleeps even if it's meant to work she just says the item I got is excluded without checking

Actually, bizarre as it sounds, I have printed off ACM vouchers using my own card and had another name printed on them!

It must be some kind of glitch in their ACM software.
  • My dad has a boots advantage card -which he never uses and he wants to cancel membership......are there options on the ACM which will cancel the card/membership for good??....could he still re-apply later on if he decides to???

would be grateful for a reply. Thanks
  • Another question - if you buy products using your AC points and later return the product - will they add the points back onto the card or will they offer a cash refund??
