  • yesterday i went to boots in Brighton. I bought 2 suncreams, they were reduced and bogof only came up as £6 for the two. I asked the SA if i spent another £3 on no7 could i get the free wrap and use my £5 off voucher. She said no as i was only paying £6 for the creams not £12. I thought OK getting a bargain.
Then don't know what came over me i got really brave ( was a little nervous as this was my first try at Bootsing). I said would you just scan something else to take it up to the £15 and try doing the wrap. "it won't work", she said but i'll do it". Ta da as if by magic it went thru, Sa was not believeing her eyes, i quickly grabbed two tanning wipes at £1.65 each to make me up to £15. While i was doing this she called over another SA to tell her. This can't be right she was saying we'll have to call head office!
I quickly paid and was out of there.
    so got
    2 no 7 sun creams
    2 tanning wipes
    free wrap
    all this for £4.30

not bad for first timer i think?

I then had the taste for it and later went to Boots in Worthing. Don't know if i should have done but i opened the free sanc bag and took out the £3 voucher, used that with £3v from mag and ACM voucher, bought hand cream and wipes, free bag all for £2.50 then got 150ac pnts too.
Thought i was clever til i opened my wrap last night and found another voucher for sanc. Got to go back today, want a no7 electrical pedicure kit worth £4.98.

might try the MF box if i'm brave too.

    anymore tips greatly received.

I saw a post on here about max factor freebies and went to my local boots to look but they dont have any, is it normal for different areas to have different offers?

Does anyone know when the next Clinique bonus time is at boots? I've had a look online but I can't find any listed for boots, only John Lewis etc, but I want to use my points so can only be boots!

Please tell me I am right in thinking I still get the free stuff if I pay with points? :o

The next Bonus Time is 22 March - 7 April. I've used points before and got the freebie, so you should be ok. Hope so anyway - i've been saving points to stock up. Enjoy!

Good! :T I hate it when you've planned bargains and they don't work at first!

Just had another look online, they do include the 3 minute miracle frizz remedy - which is what I use, so didn't look at the others, but you're right none of the other 3 minute miracles are included. How odd. Oh well!

annoying cos its the other two I use!!!! I shall wait and see in a few months what other offers are on. I have enough Aussie stuff for 6 months!!! lol :rotfl:

Who was the rude SA in Kensington, was he on Photo/pharmacy/normal tills? Want to know who to avoid as i tend to try and head to male SAs when bootsing :rotfl: Yesterday was so super busy that i went and paid by normal tills upstairs, the SA woman there was super nice and friendly, impressed by my vouchers and the discount, really sweet too. I'm gonna rummage for my till reciept to get her name and send CS an email complimenting her :)

His name is Roger or Robert (I know it began with an R:confused: ) I think he is weekend staff (I've only ever seen him there at weekends) on the normal tills, near the tube entrance. My favourite SA at Kensington is a guy on the Pharmacy. I must start paying upstairs when he isn't around. Can you give us a discription of the nice SA who took all your vouchers? I like the sound of her:rotfl:

Am off to Boots tonight (Lakeside if anyone has any pointers on whats in and whats not!) and have a long list of things to look for and am now about to rewrite it in the order to shop - probably going to do about 4 shops (if my nerve holds out:o !)

I need to start with a No7 shop as I then want to do a Sanctuary shop so want the coupon from the wrap?

My main question is - can I buy the No7 bits with points or is it money (or PB vouchers!) only if you get a free gift?

Am thinking of taking some other carrier bags out so my DH doesnt see me coming in with more Boots bags! My DDs nursery are having a fete soon so think I need to off load some of my stash to them - its my way of justifying all the bags I have hidden away:rotfl: !

    Hiya

I have a £5 parenting voucher and could do with some suncare, could anyone suggest anything to get with this? Is the suncare still BOGOF?? would I still get the wrap free with 2x £7.50 items and could I use parenting voucher for this, or even my no7 voucher and pay £2.50???

No7 Suncare still BOGOF, but the items marked £7.50 seem to be scanning at £6 (or lower!) so you won't get the wrap with them unless you add the tanning wipes mentioned (great tip!)

If you're using the parenting voucher, i believe from what others said it only takes off the value of *one* No7 item (or two, if they're bogof as the 2nd is "free") so if you're wanting max value on that then try the firmYourBody kit. Scanned at £12.25 for me, free with £5 parenting voucher, and BOGOF so got 2 :D
