  • just got back from salford precinct branch(manchester)WORST trip EVER!!they were so horrible they nearly reduced me to tears.i was shaking like a leaf by the time i left but kept my head held high!they also bullied my 62 yr old mum so nearly got a s**p!!!i won't bore you all with the full details but i can't get over just how nasty they all were;in tandem!!feel better for ranting tho, sorry.they wouldnt let me use any vouchers for sale stuff(thats not what this is mainly about tho)&gave me a lot of what i can only call spite &malice&rudeness to boot..i'll ring CS in the a.m & just try & calm down till then, hmm!i'd also forgotten to hand over my card & they wouldnt validate my receipt!!!

I used to go to Salford Prceint branch but never had any real problems. There is one meber of staff in there who is really nice Young girl with Long Blonde hair - she is really helpful and always says hello when she sees me - i remember last year with the Change one Thing vouchers on time delay - she did 21 items for me without any problem - All Free. So if you do go there again try and go to her shes lovely. Also try Manchester Fort - the straff in there are great. I seem to befirend staff in boots these days lol

GRRRR!!!! I need to rant!! Bought a pack of sweets last week, Only to find out later that they were out of date :O Emailed customer services that afternoon and did not get a reply for two days. They said they would pass it on to the manager, for them to phone me. Now they have tried to phone me three times, during office hours, but as I am in a class room all day it would be very unprofessional to be answering the phone. I have also been into the shop concerned, and there is never a manager or supervisor around. I only go into this shop on the way to work 7:30 - 8:00 am and on the way home 5:30-6:00pm. I am now sat here, at work, like a plank, waiting for them to call , after I told them yesterday evening that I would be free for the first two hours of the day. I do not know where to go from here. I think it is totally unacceptable. On top of that I have a packet of sweets floating around my bag tempting me!!!

  • Bought a mediterraean body butter £3.99 and got a free body wash using the parenting voucher but the med products weren't from the pregnancy range. My receipt showed i paid £3.35 for both items!

I've got the £5 parenting voucher but scared to try and get the mirror and wrap! Would be handy for a xmas pressie 2.

What are the sanctuary hand things you can buy to get the free bag too?

I was wondering whether or not the £2 luxury bathing coupon from the wrap would combine with the BOGOF med coupon from the parenting club as long as the combined total of the 2 products was over £10. Might give it a try later if I get to Boots.:D

I couldn't make it to Kensington today. Anyway, would've been a wasted trip if nearly all the freebies have gone. Do they still have the nail/brush sets? I would love another set:D

There was only about 5 nail/brush sets left  They've moved the MF freebie display to behind the pillar (behind you when you face the new shiny MF display shelves they installed), but looooads of the manicure sets. Think I only saw 3 boxes in the entire store... wonder what happened to them all, there was tonnes left the previous day.

Who was the rude SA in Kensington, was he on Photo/pharmacy/normal tills? Want to know who to avoid as i tend to try and head to male SAs when bootsing :rotfl: Yesterday was so super busy that i went and paid by normal tills upstairs, the SA woman there was super nice and friendly, impressed by my vouchers and the discount, really sweet too. I'm gonna rummage for my till reciept to get her name and send CS an email complimenting her :)

  • As the No 7 suncare has now been reduced online (and it seems in store even though some stores have old prices up.) then the new way to get the wrap seems to be…..

Online, most of the items are now £6 (still BOGOF) which means to get the free wrap you must buy 4 items = £24 value = £12 BOGOF - £5 = £7 to pay

‘Glossy locks hair spritz’ and ‘pre holiday brightening body buffer’ are £5.50 so if you buy 4 = £22 value = £11 BOGOF - £5 voucher = £6 to pay

    Does this sounds right?

Didn't there used to be a suncare item at £8.50 previously?

If so, and it has been reduced by a £1 like most of the others, this should still qualify or am I just dreaming :)
