just got back from salford precinct branch(manchester)WORST trip EVER!!they were so horrible they nearly reduced me to tears.i was shaking like a leaf by the time i left but kept my head held high!they also bullied my 62 yr old mum so nearly got a s**p!!!i won't bore you all with the full details but i can't get over just how nasty they all were;in tandem!!feel better for ranting tho,sorry.they wouldnt let me use any vouchers for sale stuff(thats not what this is mainly about tho)&gave me a lot of what i can only call spite &malice&rudeness to boot..i'll ring CS in the a.m & just try & calm down till then,hmm!i'd also forgotten to hand over my card & they wouldnt validate my receipt!!!

:eek: OMG!! Is there a SAs name on your receipt? Name and shame if there is hun, they have no right treating you and your Mum like that!! :mad:

I wouldn't rely on the prices on-line as all the suncare in my local store was half price, prices on products, a big handwritten bogof sign and a sign saying they will accept No 7 vouchers on these products. Desperate to get rid of it all me thinks:rolleyes:

My little local branch all of a sudden had the £10 Glitterbabes pink backpacks on the reduced shelf for £1.50!! Not seen them in there at all before. Grabbed 2 as they make nice girly pressies for DD friends. Walked around and thought about it and grabbed 2 more thinking that would take the total upto £6 so I would get a voucher (I am learning, lol). SA scanned them and it came to £4 something :eek: . An extra discount had kicked in for some reason, so grabbed 2 Cadbury chocolate bars (they were on offer too, yummy) to get it just over £5 and got my No7 voucher and 4 lovely girly gifts.

Still not found any Sanctuary Skincare in my 2 local stores, methinks I have to head out further afield to a larger store to make the most of my SS vouchers. That will be tomorrow's project .

thanks guys,that means a lot 2 me.i'm glad i've calmed down a bit.it wouldnt even be as bad but i've not been there since they were so bloody last time & i let it go but i'm SO going to name&shame,shall tell them how bad 1st time was 2 i think,i've still the names from 1st time 2.awful thing is they've so much reduced stuff..fancy all joining me en-masse 1 day & clearing it armed with CS ammo & clearing them out...??!!

Wanted to say that the Huggies changing bag does not go through either on its own or with say a small pack of huggies nappies,so annoying.

BTW the Lancome gift is lovely.....bought juicy tubes set for £19.95 reduced from £29.99 and a under-eye concealer thing for £22 paid using points (felt sick,lol) Am well chuffed

Oh and Fcuk,got free bag ok but bought two items for £3.50 from grooming range and it came to £7.00 had to go get a tird item as the bag didnt go for 3 for 2

Cookie - Thanks for the tips about Kensington! I'm rapidly falling in love with London Bootsing - especially as I can claim my (meal deal) lunch on expenses when I'm away... mmmmmm.... Random reduced No7 and other odd cosmetics in Eastcote, but not really worth the trip unless you're in that area (no advantage card machine)... I will continue to work my way down the Metropolitian line tommorrow

Def get in touch with CS, if you have a name on your receipt - even better. I had a nasty run in with a member of staff a week ago and CS were fab when i got in touch with them. Wanted to know who had served me (if not name but a description and what time i was in) and then passed my complaint to the store manager for him to be aware of the problem and to train staff accordingly and they also gave me some advantage card points as an apology.

Hope you've recovered somewhat since.

:rotfl: If you weren't so far away I would jump at the chance!!!

P.S does anyone know of a Boots in south London with a decent reduced section? The only ones I have tried (Croydon and Purley Way) have had a miserable selection...and certainly no reduced Sanctuary to be found :sad:
