Haven't posted for a while, but browse occasionally, and now reading about all your bargains has got me really hooked on this thread! I have to read every day, and I'm impressed with how helpful and supportive you all are. I'm going on holiday soon, no computer access for 2 weeks, and no Boots where I'm going:eek: !! How am I going to manage?
I have a couple of questions which I hope you can answer for me, please.
My MIL bought me a glycolic peel last week, paid £16.50 for it, but I won't use it, so if I return it will they put the money on a giftcard for me, if there is nothing else I want to buy? (fully stocked on suncare, anti ageing stuff etc!)
If you use a giftcard to pay or part pay for No 7 stuff, can you still get a wrap?0 -

It must be some kind of glitch in their ACM software.
I had that happen to me the other week.
Was going to report it to but never got around to it.

You will probably be able to get a refund onto a giftcard as long as you have the receipt, however, if you get a nice Sales assistant, they will sometimes put it onto a giftcard without a reciept but they are cracking down on this.
Using a giftcard plus cash to buy No7 items will still qualify you for a wrapStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

Hi there -
Hope your MIL got a wrap when she bought the peel!! Using a giftcard is just like using cash, so yes, you should get a wrap when spending enough and also the No7 voucher!!
I took a peel back a little while ago and the SA insisted I exchanged on the spot. But have also taken suncare back and have had cash back and another time got a giftcard. So it depends on which way the wind blows me thinks!!
HTH. Good luck🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
Just a thought, do you get a £5 voucher if you pay by giftcard? I gave a friend a £20 one for her birthday, and she will be using it next week. She asked if she could use it in 4 transactions of £5 each, and get a voucher for each transaction. She wants to get the No 7 pedicure set, and some other No 7 items, and maximise her spending power.0

If you BUY a giftcard I don't think you would get a £5 voucher as well, but if you PAY with a giftcard it is just like cash and you will get a No7 £5 voucher.🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -

So she could split the purchases up, and get a voucher for each lot of £5 she spent off the giftcard?
If you buy a giftcard for £5, would you get a £5 voucher, same as you do for a mobile topup?
Sorry if I'm being dim, I just want to give her the right info, and I've not got my head around the ins & outs of all the possibles yet.
EDIT cross posted with meandmaboy, sorry. Pleased to give you your first Thank You tho0
