£7.50 Suncare all reduced to £6.00 in my store today. Sa tried to put the wrap through but it wouldn't work. She then tried all the more expensive suncare, but again £6.00. I asked her to scan the glitter babes backpack that someone said was scanning at £1.50..they scanned at £7.50...I told her that they had scanned at £1.50 in another store, and she said that's impossible as all the tills are linked and there is no such thing as managers specials...if a transaction goes through in one store, it must go through in them all. She's really nice this sa, they all are in my local boots...they're all stocked up on the suncare, after I explained the 6 4 1 deal, and she tried really hard today to get me a wrap!! So I don't really understand why we can't all get the glitches to work.....are sa's able to over ride the till , and should they be allowed to??

i may be wrong but i think the glitches are all the same in different stores, i dont think anyone has got a wrap without spending at least 7.50 on suncare and no i dont think the tills are all linked because in our local store they were reducing different toys as they had to many in the stock room, also different stores have different reduced sections

My little local branch all of a sudden had the £10 Glitterbabes pink backpacks on the reduced shelf for £1.50!! Not seen them in there at all before.

saw these today and loads of other christmas stock but it only had 20% off on all of it - I couldn't believe it!
Me thinks someone has tampered with the till!

I was served by a bloke who could not speak english, scrutinised every voucher - then said i could only use 1 voucher per transaction, would not scan my vouchers on the sancturary so I had those voided off then he got the right hump and started moaning at me saying i was still standing there as i hadn't got my extra points!

I was standing there with a basket of stuff for my next transaction which he still moaned at, I know in future when his till says 'number one please' to let the next person go in front of me!!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

Has anyone ever topped up a tesco mobile in Boots? I've had problems topping it up in other places, but never tried Boots.

    Hi,
1st posting for me please be gentle,i am always lurking about this board but have decided to join in now.
I have been buying £5.00 gift cards in various boots in Glasgow, just before i have been making my purchases & i have rec'd a No7 voucher every time.
    Regards.:j

Welcome to the board! This was something I posted about before as well - its only in some stores. Out of 7 stores, only 2 have given me a voucher, i think its just down to the SAs, but its always worth trying!

I went into my local store today and asked about my voucher, 3 SAs scrutinised it (4 glossy locks for 50p on there!), among others, and they said "No reason to not have a voucher, here!" and just gave me one, I was shocked! Thought i'd have to call customer services up!

    Hi folks
I've not been on for ages due to a pretty horrendous time so hi to anyone that remembers me :)
Anyway I read through all the new deals and went to East Kilbride Retail Park today. I did 2 transactions
    1st:
No7 Hydro quench sauna mask - £4.24 with No7 voucher
Boots Expert Cleansing Bar 87p + 50 points from ACM
    Botanics shower gel - £3
Botanics Body wash free from treats vouchers
Botanics Mens Shaving gel £1.50 (50% off with ACM voucher)
    I also used a 100 points for £10 spend
Came to £9.62 in end with 430 points :D

    2nd:
    Sanctuary stuff
Cleansing Face Wash £2.95 (£3 off from mag voucher)
    Body wash £4.50
    Free Bag
No7 perfect lip lacur £4.25 with No7 voucher +150 points from mag
150 points for sanctuary from ACM
    £2 off from previous bag
75 points for £10 spend from ACM
Total came to £9.70 with 310 points

    So thank you very much.

I was going to get myself a wrap but all the BOGOF signs are away and nothing to say No7 suncare stuff was reduced so didn't try it - does anyone know if BOGOF is finished or have they just taken the signs down?
Might risk it tomorrow as I've got another No7 voucher to play with ;)

    Claire
    :)

PS has anyone bought the Armani bag with the perfume? I was thinking of getting it with my points but can't remember if your allowed a freebie if you use points????
