I have a touche eclat. Am I doing the right thing, I just dot it under my eyes before make up goes on and very gently blend, then a little foundation and powder over that. It does take the dark circles away a bit. or do you put it over any foudation??

Is there anywhere else I should be putting it I see it as a concealer and got one as it seemed to be the "in thing" at the time. Thanks for any advice .

janthemum i wouldnt waste your money on the benefit lemon aid. I tried it once and it was rubbish- it just peeled! clinique do a nice base which is creamy and acts as a good eye base -its the best eye base i have used.If you are wanting to brighten your eyes up the best way is just to apply a white or slightily silvery eyeshadow in a soft line just below your brows it lifts your eye area brilliantily ( you can do this with or without eyeshadow on) .

I wanted to ask you bootsers about YSL touche eclat - have you used it and does it really make you look awake...is it the magic wand it claims to be? Im only 22 but some days i feel 92!! Its £23 (cheaper on ebay!) but not sure if Boots sell it and if its any good -

    Comments welcome! X
Touch eclat has very limited colours and doesnt work on several skin tones- mine being one. My friend is a make up artist andher favouriet is dior diorshow- which i love too as you can use it anywhere on your face ( under cheekbones to give you a hollow look ).However a lot of companies have their own versions and it is worth looking about. I have tried most- excpet the clinique one- and dior and lancomes are the best.

i use a tiny dot of olay illuminating lotion around and under eyes and it really works .sometimes i use it as a makeup base and just brush a little powder over to hide under eye shadows, its also great over makeup to add a little glow-especially around eyes in a c shape or on cheekbones.Ive had my bottle about a year and its still half full as a tiny amount goes a long way-in the past i have tried ysl TE, and loads of others brands but this is the only item that has really satisfied me.hth

ok peeps.. I've just used the straighten..

my hair is waist length and very curly naturally.. now it reaches my bum and is almost poker straight :D It's got a bit of a wave, very slight which is fine by me and there is a bit of fluffiness still but apparently that will settle after a couple of days.

My hair feels stronger and in better condition than before, much easier to comb and it shines which is ace. I'll report back in a couple of days again, lol but so far I would definitely recommend it :D
