do you not need to use straighteners at all on your hair now? Gets a big thumbs up from me! Make sure u report back and let us know how it deals with rain/frizz etc
but i wont be needing it as my hair is fairly straight anyway :o

    Hi!
After weeks of decadent bathing with all my Sanctuary purchases, I decided to try Boots Basic soap. A 3-pack costs 29p (remember to factor in the points) I'm just out of the bath, and...well, it was actually very nice. Bargain. Has anyone tried any other Basics?

i use basics shaving foam and it works fine no different to gillette or boots own brands, have also tried basics sanitary towls in the past aswell aswell as soap and shampoo without any complaints.I dye , perm colour bleach and do allsorts to my hair and its still healthy-the essentials range is great to on hair
My fave basics item is the toothbrushes-for me the brush bristles are just right and i prefer to use these instead of my electric toothbrush

Wow Ethel, im going to try and do mine as soon as possible (i dreamt i did it, wish i could do it in my sleep lol). You would make a much better model for it than the models on the side of the box!

Just beware of the smell of the conditioner, i gave up after a couple of days and just used a normal deep conditioner.

I bought a Dora the Explorer Shaker Maker on Thursday. It was priced at £9.99 but rang up as £7.49. I checked the shelf and spotted a sign hidden on the top shelf and obscured by stacks of toys...25% off.

    Go for it.. definitely!!

I'm not sure if the conditioner is rich enough, it felt quite watery on my hair and my hair does feel a bit dry but I'll just use my normal intensive conditioner in future..

Just have to see how it goes over the next few days now :D

I've blowdried it and then went over the fluffy bits with the straighteners.. but Skintchick did it a few months ago and said the fluff settles after a few days.

It feels stripped if that makes sense? like it needs to build up it's natural oils again, so maybe when that happens it'll be nice and calm and wont need much faffing at all.. I do hope so..

the best bit is.. I didn't have to do battle with the hairbrush to detangle it.. it normally takes me about 45 mins to brush it after a wash.. not even two mins aftre this.. I think Im in heaven :D

    Wow!
    thats amazing!

I have fine straight hair which has began to go wavy for the first time in my life.No idea why:confused:
If it keeps going I might eventually need a straightening kit!
My hairdresser once used straighteners on my hair and my OH said I looked like Cain Dingle!

Was it hard to do or did you have someone help you do it? Also how long did it take to do. I have one but not had time to do it yet - dying to try though not sure if I can manage on my own though - you opinions would be great. Thanks
