I read your post about 5 times and couldnt get my head around ANY of what the SA seemed to be implying!! All I can work out is that without a voucher you would need to spend approx £175 to get 750 points. But you had a voucher, and where the hell did she get the shoplifting idea from? She sounds like a complete fruit-cake to me.
Dont let it get you down hun...... :grouphug: << this is apparently the 'group hug' icon, though it looks a bit suspicious to me :rotfl:
I can't get my head round this at all? I have read and re-read these posts trying to work out how you can steal things yet still get the points and a receipt? how is this possible? Simple answer.....IT ISNT! .This procedure is called "buying things" - its what customers do in shops !
This SA has taken "jobsworth" to a whole new level! She has obviously not been trained in any CS skills whatsoever !
Please try not to get too down about this , I am sure CS will come good in the end , but you may have to be quite persistant with those letters.Started my own business and loving being my own boss

ZZtopgirl Iam glad you rang cs and i hope something gets done , you give them hell !! Doesnt make sense at all !!!

Im no longer a Bootser. Handed back my ac earlier and told them i will never shop there again.
I went in this morning, only to get some aqueous cream for dd and thought i'd ask at the same time about not getting ac points for Clinique purchases. Before anyone flames me, i was only asking, i wasnt stamping feet and demanding they put the points on. The pharmacy sa didnt know so i said its ok, i'll ring cs when i get home. No. She ran off with my reciept and ac and came back with an Estee Lauder sa.
This is where it gets hairy. She accused me of stealing £150 of Clinique items to get 750 points on my ac (if anyone can work that out, i'll gladly post my remaining vouchers out to them), i was trying to explain that i had a voucher for the 750 points but no. My dh has a brain injury and she started on him too demanding that he must understand what she was saying (i dont even think the other sa's understood), i did ask her to stop accusing me as i had a very stressful day yesterday but she wouldnt stop. So i asked to see the manager who sided with her staff. So i just gave back my card and walked out.
My mum cant even understand it, if i stole stuff, why would i have points on my card? Ive never stolen anything in my life and im so embarassed and ashamed now, to be accused like that. My mum is :T that i gave my card back even though it has roughly £65 on it. But i have nothing to hide, im waiting for cs to ring me back and have told them to call the police, they are most welcome to search my house for the £150 of items i apparently stole.
I feel distraught. Sorry. I wasnt even going to tell them, nor anyone actually, about my day yesterday, its my own business. But they must not treat customers like this.
If anyone wants my vouchers, just pm me, its the remaining vouchers from the 'as one of our best customers' valid for april. Dont want to throw them out.
And for 750 points, i would've stole £187.50. But try as i might, i just cant work it out.
Edited because forgot to add, the Clinique ac machine isnt working.
Which store did this happen at?
A similar thing happened to me at Boots a couple of years ago at the pharmacy counter. The SA was very rude to me and although it was very difficult I tried to maintain my dignity when what I really wanted to do was drag her over the counter.
When I got home I wrote a long letter to MD of Boots - cant remember what his name was - and complained bitterly about her, and also about the fact that other SA's did nothing except stand and gawp! I received a very apologetic letter and was assured that she would be 'dealt with'. Not sure what they did exactly but she still works there and when I go in there she knows me and I very politely ask her to get someone else to serve me as I am not happy with her attitude. She then trots off with her head down. It took a lot of guts at first to do it but I am so glad I did because now each time this happens, maybe once a month, it feels good to not be beaten by her.
Dont give in girl, even if it hurts right now, keep with it with your head held high.
The SA is a representative of Boots and they are ultimately responsibly for how she treats their customers - I am pretty sure they will want to make you happy.0 -
im in the same situation! i am hoping the 6 for 1 doesnt work in my store cos i have no space and no use for more suncare!
im planning on leaving it a few days and since i cannot let the vouchers pass will probably either get some make up brushes and stash them away or some nail polish since i dont have evry single colour yet!!
