Have often wondered about that. Can this be used for making bread by hand or do you need a BM? Thanks.
Small spend dayFinished painting the hallway and landing (thank the lord) and realised we didn't have enough spuds for tonights tea. DS2 has a friend round tonight and I had planned on doing burgers (MrT Finest ys) but his Mum said he wasn't keen. They and DD will have DR pork sausages instead and DS1 and I will have the burgers. DH is out tonight so no tea needed.
Went to C00P and they had just reduced 2 packs of Albert Bartlett pots to £1 a bag - think they are usually around the £2 mark. Got both bags and some green beans, plus a ys white loaf for 45p. Total spend £4.05. Will update sig to include my AF order which arrived todayThis is mostly 2nd purse stock.

Dinner tonight was home made ready meals. Not got a lot left now which is good as I have about 4 weeks before my fridge freezer goes. Trouble is I have the do a meal for 5 and 1 for the freezer mentality that I am having to wean myself off of and it is very difficult.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hello all!
Hope everyone is well. I went a bit green at JJ's ys haul, but as my freezer is rammed I would have bought stuff with nowhere to out it!
Just wanted to ask a quick question. What freezer bags do people get? I know it sounds daft, but I've always just used value cheapy ones, but they're not at all strong enough for my rough and ready freezer. They tend to easily spilt especially when I'm ramming more stuff in
Just need bananas. OH will hopefully pick them up from MrA on his way home with nothing else. He sounded quite tired so hopefully won't waste any energy looking for 'bargains'Got salmon for tea tonight with ys sugar snap peas and some salad MIL gave us last night, might do some cous cous too (AF bargain) and I still have a fridge full of apricots for pudding
Hope everyone has a good weekend

They told me last night they wanted soup and so tonight i have made hm tomato soup with onions, tinned toms, greek yog and basil from the garden and with it i finally got round to make JJ herby cheese bread and OMG it is so simple and so lovely and most importantly THE KIDS LOVE IT :rotfl: Clean plates all round and no shopping for extra bits and so a nsd too :j
Me and DH are having curry later which is on the stove as we speak. A good day today

Done the weekly shop at A3da and Ald1 tonight and spent a grand total of £46.70. I was hoping for £40 when I worked it out earlier in the week but forgot a couple of things I had run out of like sugar, vegetable oil and yogurts for DS and I bought some extra fruit and some ald1 m@rs bars and an a5da fresh pizza for DH as I have a GF one in the freezer.
I bought the Ald1 dry cider for DH at 8 cans for £3.99 but he has turned his nose up at it and hasn't even had any yet. Well, tough he isn't getting anything else.
I have some bendy leeks and carrots that I am going to make into soup for lunch tomorrow with a couple of potatoes and maybe an onion. I am going to attempt a GF version of JJ's Cheesy Herb Bread with some chives from the garden to go with it and a big fruit salad for afterwards using the ald1 super 6 fruit and a £1 melon and SP grapes from Asd@.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
