At least I managed to redeem those foraged cherries in some edible confection so not a total loss.

Tea is about to be prawn curry, dal, chicken curry (defrosted), YS naans and rice. Getting hungry for it now but have to wait for the family to walk in before I dish up.......

    Edit:
    Here's tea:

Oh thanks rising- I work on a good deal being 10p per wash which are very few and far between these days so this is near enough :D

Another few spends in B&M and MrM but all 2nd purse purchases so will count in GC when I use them and pay back 2nd purse

    Some Help please-
I know you can freeze wine in an ice cube tray but i have a frost free freezer that 'eats' normal ice cubes over time- will me freezer still eat my wine cubes? would putting cling flim over the cube tray stop it? Or should i freeze the wine in cubes then put the froxen cubes in a freezer bag?

I used a5da SR GF flour and it worked perfectly, I didn't need any extra liquid. It is like a big cheese scone and very tasty and quick to make and I will certainly be making it again:D

Cheers XSpender, that is good to know. Will look at making some for my boys then

1 box of eggs - £1.12, so I've updated signature.

Getting ready for hols so I need to think what to buy to take away - self catering, and what to leave for coming home :)

Off to prep veggies for Sunday dinner, so I'm done in time for Casualty. I like the idea of the frozen bananas but there aren't usually any left in our house to do that sort of thing with. I'll have to look out for some reduced soft ones next week when I go shopping.

Fun day today. DS1 did something to his bike so we had to go and buy him a new one. Really could have done with out that outlay, was not cheap at all  Anyway it really b0ggered up our day.

We need to save on petrol as money is tight so DH was going to take DC3 to his party and stay there while I got on with sorting and packing and chucking and charity shopping. So he had to take me there and leave us, drive back to town and go to various shops until he found a bike that was suitable, buy it and build it. Come and get me and DC3, get home and DC1 had to try it out and have it adjusted, scoff down his lunch and get all the stuff ready for his cycle trip. I had to wrap a present and write a card then take DC1 to the meeting point of the cycle ride.

DH took DC2&3 to a party and I came home and did some housework and then went and picked DC1 up at 6pm. He was covered head to toe in mud and he was wearing a white tshirt . Got him home and chucked him in the shower while I made HM burgers and chips with HM chilli sauce for his burger bun and to dip his chips in and we are now chilling on the laptop and DSi.

DH has just rang and he will be home in about half and hour with 2 knackered kids.

    Just had
