Fab news rich, keep us posted from there. When is the interview? I will think about you all day and send positive vibes. I really hope you get it.

We are def moving in the right direction,we have decided to sell our business... there you go, you heard it first, we have a buyer so now it's just the legal stuff. I'm hoping to be moved so we can at least enjoy a bit of the canadian summer, don't much fancy getting there just as the first flakes of snow fall (I'm more of a sunshine kind of girl). But I still need to sort out schools and stuff so that might be a bit optimistic.

Anyway, enough of me, fingers crossed for you and well done for getting so far so quickly.

I have a friend who has been cabin crew for BA for years, I'll ask him what you should wear and what questions you might be asked. I know they like young pretty girls (you've got that bit covered) smile a lot etc. I think that if I were interviewing for that kind of job, personality would be the most important thing, you can teach technical stuff, safety issues, etc, but you can't teach someone to have a friendly approachable personality. I might be talking out of my behind, and I will ask my friend for you, but that's how I see it anyway.

Please come on here and let us know how you got on. I'll be thinking of you.

Hi RMW - Well done for taking the decision - I won't be too far behind you.
I have a friend, in Italy, whose daughter is a Customer Service Manager at the 7 star hotel, in Dubai. She took nothing with her, as her accomadation was all paid for.
I think that, once you get your first salary, you won't have to worry about money, so I would suggest that you take enough for the first month or so.
Rent the flat in Scotland. Can a family member keep an eye on things?
I suggest that you opt for a 'conservative' look for the interview - a suit sounds favourite.
Once again - the very best of luck. :T :T :T

Wow rich, I didn't know things were moving so fast with your move! Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. How exciting it must be to plan for a new life in a new country.

By the way, you might need your mortgage providers permission to rent out your home - should be okay if it's just short term and you are intending to return back to the UK to live in the same property again, but some agencies wont deal with you unless you have a letter from your mortgage company confirming they are happy for you to let the property out. Just thought I would mention as I couldn't see that anyone else had done.
