It comes down to what you would reasonably expect to be included within the sale.

A car sold with tax, you can reasonably expect that the car was sold with tax.
    I totally agree.
If I viewed a car and then bought that same car, unless informed otherwise I would expect everything that was installed at the time of viewing to be included in the sale, unless of course it was an obvious accessory such as a child seat (or cat in the boot).

A tax disc is not an accessory and as such, I would treat it the same as any other standard "fixture and fitting" of the car.

I'd just keep your money, date the v5 the day before, and send it in and claim it was delayed in the post. (I might put a few more fines on, and park it in an ambulance bay for you as well)

youve sold enough dodgy cars from your drive now to know that attention to paperwork is the key to being in front

ps ive dropped some ball bearings in the rocker cover too for good luck and filled the tyres with water

Juesss W H Christ, here we go again, gentlemen, give your views, you are entitled to them and the op is then aware of the consequences of any action he or she takes. In this case a dispute over a misunderstanding could result in issues at work.

But please chaps stop trying to impose your opinions on others, as they say "opinions are like ace holes, everybody has one"

I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

A good response to the text received by the OP would be to text back with 'Sry, didnt rlze no tax inc. I wthdrw my ofr and will instd ofr £400'

A couple of cars I've sold had the Tax in. I got more by selling this way than I would have by selling the car without Tax and cashing-in the Tax disc.
    Never Knowingly Understood.

I could probably make an exception in your case, and sell you one I'd bought from a scrapper, for twice what I paid for it.

It's sad to see you get so delusional mikey, you're coming up with crazier and crazier things, and your reading comprehension skills are the worst they've ever been if you thought I bought a dodgy bike and was too scared to complain, it's a great bike which I enjoy the use of every day, it just needs a couple of routine maintenance jobs doing soon (no surprise on a second hand bike bought cheap in a private sale), why don't you have a rest and a few days off.
