I had a really busy day at work today, followed by an impromptu spurt around my house, I washed up all yesterday's washing up :o have stick 2 loads of washing in the machine, dried 1, the other is still drying, 2 loads of ironing, cooked DD's tea - HM chicken goujons, HM chips and sweetcorn, made all the packed lunches and had my shopping delivered and put it away (me that is - Sainsbury's haven't launched a new service ;) ). DD is now in the bath, I'm just about to go and wash her hair - but I thought I'd let my body have a rest after the shock of all that work

    Evening all.
Hope all of you who havent posted for a while are ok?
Big hugs and thoughts going to Moggins, im thinking about you,(((()))))

Not much to report, first post today as iv been busy all day, cleared the wash baskets, and started spring cleaning, aiming to tackle one room a day this week, tommorow is the bathroom.
Dh came home from work and cut the grass, the smell made me smile summer is almost here!! My fav season of the year mainly due to excuse for lots of partys/bbqs ect.!!!

Ds1 has asked to go to his first footy match on his own with 2 of his friends, me and dh have said yes and its not for 3 weeks but my stomach in knots, know hes getting to the age (11) where he will want to be going out alot with his mates, and just feel like im about to `lose` him if you know what i mean?? He never really wants to go out up until now and enjoys doing things with us, which i know wont change just feeling like my little boy is gone.
    Anyway off for a read,

    Have a lovely evening all.

    Evening Everyone
((((((hugs)))))) seems many are in need.
CCStar shame you don't get support, but try not to get angry, just say, you know where the washing goes, and if you forget, you know where the washer is. Offer instructions, but keep them simple, just show the delicate wash, it cant hurt anything that way.

my neighbour swears that it is ordinary potatoes that cause hers to flare up, and sticks to sweet potatoes. More expensive I know, and not the same as real mash, but it might be worth a try if it keeps the pain down.
disdisbiff - I agree I could do more with £500.
Nothing much happening here, watching Fame Academy while surfing, and should be tiding the bedroom, or doing some Spanish :o but my get up and go and got up and gone.

Ticklemouse - good luck to you as well

By the time I've got to the end of the thread i remember the stories but not the names so hugs to everyone who needs them
First day back at work today which was sort of nice - lots of people had missed me .... but one my colleagues did upset me this morning and i can't seem to forget it. Last year I was going out with a colleague but had to ask him to leave my house after some "episodes" of mental illness that i felt put me and my daughter at risk. Since then he has not been back to work and has taken several overdoses - partly because we split up but mostly because he wasn't well anyway - and has been in a hospital for the last few months I have not even been able to talk to my friends at work about it as i thought it unfair on him and wanted to respect his confidentiality. If anyone has asked about him I have referred them to his line manager as he is still employed there. Well this woman said very loudly "oh where is ...... I heard he'd gone laa-laa" and she did that curly hair thing. Well the manager heard her and pulled her out (luckily for both of us cos i was ready to smack!) and gave her a lecture about diversity but she must have known that her coments would hurt - not just me but him also if he is ever well enough ot come back - GRRRRR! she aplogised but i told her to p*** off for a bit
Anyhoo - exdh has invited himself for tea again so I've had to stretch it out but he is babysitting for me tomorrow so that's ok
    well must Fly
