Hello everyone
A huge (((Hug))) to anyone who needs one.
Haven't been around much as DS1 has chicken pox, I am just hoping DS2 catches it too and quick, so they can both get it over with at the same time. Fortunately one of DS1's friends has it too (they are both at the same nursery and I guess they both got it there) so we are meeting up today so the spotty boys can play together.
Want to so some slow cooking tomorrow so will search the freezer for ingredients. Might make some pizza dough and try making some pizzas with the boys.

came home to find workmen all over the place the council are finally replacing the paving slabs with tarmac
so I asked if I could have enough of the slabs to do my back garden and they said yes it should be o.k. (they get crushed for road base)
so if it comes off no more muddy kids/dog from where they play football for next to nothing
It was something we were going to do anyway just never had the spare cash

Hello all
Greetings from sunny Derbyshire, I am drinking my 2nd cup of tea and getting ready to go out ( bills to pay, parcels to post...). Feeling really tired, did not sleep much last night which is very unusual for me since I am generally very laid back person.
However..... went to pick up my DS from school yesterday ( he is 8) and he was in the classroom tidying up with another classmate. The teacher looked really cheesed off but did not address me in any way. He closed the door and after 10 minutes, whilst I was waiting at the corridor, his classmate came out. He explained that they have been a bit disruptive therefore needed to do extra chores. Fair enough, I thought, although my son has not really ever been in trouble but there is always the first time!
One minute later, I can hear the teacher shouting at my son; 'you are a liar' and 'you are lying'. When I entered the room, the teacher appeared to be really flustered and aggressive so I just requested a meeting asap with appropriate members of staff and left. I tell you, I work in the homeless sector and boy can I deal with aggression...
How unprofessional is that!!! Even if my son has misbehaved, I expect the teacher to address it appropriately and then punish him. DS was so upset, and admitted that he got annoyed because it was his classmate who was actually messing around. My son admitted to messing around sometimes but not on this occasion ( the teacher was not even in the room whebn this incident happened). However, the teacher did not even give the change to explain. This morning, hand delivered, a formal complaint about the teacher... I want to know what really went on and what did the teacher do in order to unearth the truth!
What is really funny... my children go a Steiner school which should have a holistic approach and develop the child as a whole. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted a rant. My husband was brilliant, kept much cooler than I did and had a long chat with DS. It was just the sight of an adult towering over my son and acting out in anger.
Thank you for reading, I feel much better. Have a good day all, will check this thread later.SSB0 -
Morning all!
Mortgage has fallen through due to evil HR directorA very gutted PG.
But, its a nice day, and my boss isn't pushing the workload or anything, so I'll just pottle about and waste the next fortnight in looking for jobsGot an interview on Thursday, so hopefully something firm will come of that.
And lovely vege soup in the slocooker for tea with crusty bread... yum!
Happy birthday to littlemisskitkat
Hugs to all that need them especially TM, snowy, catowen, amie399, Moggins et al. Was glad to see miss n9eav is home.

Morning all, sorry I have not been around much but I have been hit by so much in the last few days I don't know where my head is.
I feel sick with what's happening, I can't say on here what it is but I am so sickened by it all I can't eat, I've gone down a size in 7 days. Still trying to find a job to keep the roof over our heads. He's moving out on April 7 and after all that has transpired it cannot come soon enough for me. Just the sight of him sickens me.
I'm trying to put a brave face on everything for the childrens sake but it's not easy. I just can't wait for his house of cards to fall in on him!!Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Full day off today so I'm concentrating on the house. Have dusted and cleaned everywhere. BM and YM on and second load in the dryer. Did the dreaded ironing last night but there will be lots more tonight. Car in garage again today so can't get to shops:mad: So creative cooking for tea tonight.;)
Take care all.

I am so angry I can hardly speak....have just had a phone call from SS agents who handle the house......he wants us to replace a water butt we are supposed to have taken from another of his houses where we used to keep the garden for him............the cheeky young b
d, we have never ever removed anything that did not belong to us from any property belonging to him or his crazy partner.......the 3 barrels we have were bought and paid for by us, we are leaving one here because we shortened a drain pipe from the garage roof to collect rain water from the roof for the garden!!!!!!!!! I am a good mind to take the b----y thing and let the water run down to the house.
He has also said he wants the rent paying up to when we move on April 11th.....he can bloody sing for that...........after all we spent on the house hes got another think coming and he can take me to court for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am now wondering how to get the carpets out, think I will see if I can sell them through the paper for collection the day we move. I will even take down the curtain fittings I bought and paid for and put them in the dustbin. I am ssssssssssssoooooooooooo angry, I could cry, but I will not give him the satisfaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moggs I have just read your post, put his things a a bin bag and put them out side, tell him to sling his hook.............now................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
