I got Rachel Allen's new book Home Cooking for £7.50 in WH Smiths - cheaper than Amazon - now ther's a first.
It is really good for a newbie to cooking and has straightforward family recipes that are easy to follow.
By the way the programme that accompanies the book is on Saturday morning at 11.30am on BBC1 and past shows are on BBCi player. Well worth a watch.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
