The receipt does say that I earned points, but the last digit of my clubcard number is replaced with an asterisk. I've never looked particularly closely at a receipt before to see if that is normal - but I wonder if the machine didn't like the barcode on the temporary card.

No, that's quite normal - a minor 'security' measure with the receipts. So they will have been added.

    Morning :)

Please can someone tell me how I can create multiple shopping baskets when ordering online from Tesco?

I know I used to be able to do this but I cant remember how. Im orderng 2 weeks worth of food but as a lot of it is 'fresh' stuff (fruit, veg, bread etc) I dont really want it hanging around 'going off' before I get to eat it. So I am wanting to order and pay for 2 lots of shopping one to be collected this week and one next week. I would prefer to pay for both today as I am on a tight budget and get paid every 2 weeks so I dont really want to put money aside for next weeks shop.

Many thanks and have a wonderful Wednesday! :)

When you order GHS (grocery home shopping) - you aren't changed until it is 'picked' on the delivery/collection day you have selected, so fruit & veg will be as 'fresh' as if you had selected yourself in-store.

  • Morning, all (well - just about morning).

I've had an email from the Tesco Bank people today, offering 1000 points to me AND to successful applicants if I recommend friends and family to apply for a Tesco credit card.

Anyone done this? My question is - presumably they give the points before any money is spent on the new card? I know a couple of people who might sign up for it but who generally prefer to deal in cash - so presumably they could use the credit card as their clubcard? (ooops, I seem to be asking two questions here instead of just one).
  • Does anyone know when the latest clubcard vouchers might show up online, I'd like to use the Clubcard Boost to order a Hudl ?

Hi I realise that but it soon starts perishing if it has to last 2 weeks before use in our fridge. I can only afford to shop once a fortnight when I get my money but dont really want to pay for 2 weeks shopping in 1 delivery I would prefer to have 2 deliveries if that makes sense. Therefore I would like 2 basket orders to pay at the same time but choose 2 separate deliveries a week apart.

Also its not always as fresh as I would pick in store I have had almost gone off goods and same day sell by dates delivered in the past when it would have been fresher as you say to get it myself instore but sadly by then too late!

Thanks for the help none the less :)

You can have deliveries for as much or as little as you want, but the bigger the amount spreads the delivery charge.

NB if you have dated items that only have a short life, best to call GHS - they should take more care.

Vouchers will arrive between the 31st Jan & 15th Feb., the only category available is the Hudl, there are no additional categories for the new mailing - there weren't either last Feb!
