Only in multiples of £5.00 - so £45.00 goes to £90.00, you may have £4.50 left over - if you have a voucher for that amount, or you'll get those points back as change later.

Thanks for that. 1 more question though if you can help. I don't have a single £5 voucher. Will i still be able to double up £45 or will i only be able to double up £5 off each voucher and have to carry the other £2 or £3 over on each voucher? My vouchers are all £7 or £8. I have no idea why they do that! :o

AS long as the total amount is divisible by five - that's fine. Just make you tell them what category/categories you want the nine £10.00 boost vouchers.

    A brief guide:

    1) Points - as you shop in Tesco you accumulate 'points' 1 per £1.00 spent. Provided you have at lest 150 points, every three months (Feb., May, Aug., & Nov,) they get converted into 'vouchers'. And then the whole process starts again, as you said you had 331 in Aug - so you would have had a £3.00 voucher and 31 points carried forward, 285 Nov = £2.50 and 35 c/f.

    2) Vouchers - are sent out every three months, they have a life of two years in which to use them, it is the vouchers you spend (not the points).

    3) Coupons - as well as being sent cash vouchers, you may also get coupons to use on certain products - they generally have a life of weeks e.g. six. The other type of coupon is 'conditional spend' i.e. spend 'x' and get 'y' off. As well as having either of these by post, they can generate from the till.

When you look in MCA under 'my vouchers' it shows you how my vouchers have been sent, used, and unused. If you look in 'my coupons' it only shows unused coupons - recently sent.

    HTHs.

Thanks for this. Are coupons unrelated to your clubcard points then and are just dispatched to you regardless?

If that's the case then i've mainly been missing out by not using the point-multiplying coupons.

I do wonder why I never get the 'spend X' variety of coupon on the website, only through mail.

Coupons, are an incentive to shop more in Tesco, and to buy certain brands - they may give you extra points or a value off i.e. they are 'promotional coupons. They do not reduce your points.

  • Hello,

I'm new here and to England in general. I want to buy Tesco Hudl tablet and it seems it may be bought for £60 in Clubcard Vouchers (is it?).

I don't even have Clubcard, but see that these vouchers are being sold on ebay.

What should I pay attention to when buying them?

    Example auctions:
    ebay.co.uk/itm/46-00-Tesco-Clubcard-Vouchers-Worth-184-00-In-Tesco-Deals/171173313266?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D286%26meid%3D2727051520950857837%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D231095915568%26 ,

    ebay.co.uk/itm/TESCO-CLUBCARD-VOUCHERS-100-WORTH-UP-TO-400-IN-DEALS-/231095915568?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35ce63d430 .

Are they ok for me to buy.

    thanks

Ive got some vouchers expiring end of the month, as ive not decided yet what or how to use them I take it if I were to exchange them for use for the EuroTunnel would it extend the use by date ?
  • I've cashed in some tesco points from topcashback, I can see the points against my card account online, can I use these now or do I need to wait 3 months for them to be converted to vouchers, I was hoping to double them up towards a new mobile phone.

    I would think it's a bit of a risk.

Clubcard vouchers have your name & clubcard number on them. I thought they did that in a bid to prevent people selling them.

Having said that, I've never been asked to produce evidence of ownership when spending them but then it's either online in exchange or if it's instore, then I use my corresponding card anyway.

Perhaps someone on here has already used vouchers in somebody else's name & can give you more information.
