No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in June

Suffice to say I ordered the LIB, skincare is my achilles heel but I don't have mountains of the stuff so its fairly guilt free - if a box costs me around £10 and gives me the shopping high of new products to play with without spending a fortune then I think that's pretty MSE :money:. I'm not going to count them as IN until they actually arrive and keep my fingers crossed that's July but the last YOU box arrived very promptly so I may be out of luck there! I'm not usually wishing things would arrive slowly! :rotfl:
I do have some more UU to declare - June is going to be a very tight result for me in terms of whether IN or UU come out on top - part of the problem being that I've used up most of the half used products from my original stash and some minis and sachets so I'm left with a lot of full sized stuff that's going to take longer to get through but hey ho I will keep plodding on.
The UU are:
L'Oreal Elvive Triple Resist Shampoo sachet - my hair really seemed to like this and I'm sure its a reasonable price so WBA - I'm mainly using a large bottle of Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo at the moment which I do like but I do think my hair prefers a change now and again, as do we all, so might get this to rotate between the two which is what I tended to do when I had more shampoo and conditioner in the stash but I've got through all of the original stash in that area :T Conditioner I think is probably less so of an issue as to whether I need to rotate it or not but shampoo definitely seems worthwhile.
Lush Sex Bomb - WBA - Lovely bath bomb, left the water a vibrant pink, plenty of oil without too much, left skin feeling very soft. Another thing I like about this one is that it all dissolves and doesn't leave any petals or bits behind in the tub. A nice treat and a fairly gratuitous one-use UU.
Soap & Glory Pulp Friction - Lovely to use, a departure from the usual S&G scent which can get a bit sickly - this is very light and fruity and fuss free, no skidding over in the tub with this one! Only quibble is for me the particles seem a little fine for a body scrub and on this basis WNBA unless it was a really good offer off course :rotfl: That said it does still feel quite scrubby but I've used other products that have left my skin softer and which are probably cheaper also.0 -
Ohh, forgot to say, and I don't know how as I'm very excited about it, me and OH have booked a hol this morning to Crete in September. :j
Got on the scales before and I was like :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: - it was at least half a stone worse than my scariest estimate so going to have to really pull my finger out there! I've no choice as I'm sure my holiday clothes just won't fit otherwise - as much as I'd like the excuse to buy new ones, I wouldn't want them in a bigger sizeThink I'll add my progress to my signature as a constant visual reminder too. Will rejoin WW online as this has worked for me in the past. OH is on a health kick too so that'll make it much easier - its his fault I've put weight on in the first place
Also, is it very wrong that I'm looking forward to the stash shopping/real shopping/product amassing I'll need to take with me almost as much as the holiday itself??Some habits die hard! :rotfl:

Nice stash ilovecakes.
Had a look at the LIB box and have resisted, I have spent too much already this year and have loads of stuff. Hopefully if my resolve waivers it will have sold out.
I have lost my favourite lip balm, Palmers chocolate and mint, it had about a third left and I think it must have dropped out of my coat pocket on Friday night when I was delivering to my avon customers in gale force winds and torrential rain. Never mind i have plenty more where that came from.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Birthday IN's
L'Occitane Travel set of shea butter shower cream, lotion, soap and 2 mini handcreams in cute little oilskin bag.
Some of the other lovely birthday IN's were plants from OH and Mum and a lovely glass tea light holder from OH. Just come back from having a gorgeous and huge afternoon tea. Going to collapse and zzzzzz while OH watches footie later, and a real bonus the sun has shone all day:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Morning everyone, sun shining here, but rather windy.
VALM
Must look for the Boots newsletter, I know it came, hope I have not thrown it away:eek: I love Revlon Stormy too.
I love the Elemis Tri Enzyme cleanser, but I use it as a second cleanse two or 3 times a week and that works really well for me. Hope you get to Cheshire Oaks, this is the only shopping centre that my OH has said that he likes!
Called at Original Factory Shop yesterday, little treat was Revlon Fuchsia Fever, will try it on toes later.
Nails today are Ciate Bonbon (mag freebie), love it I am really into these muddy sort of colours, with MF Fantasy Fire on Ring Fingers.
Just noticed, seem to have overworked the word love this morning:rotfl:
It has turned out nice here after all and Emma has gone to the festival so no Cheshire Oaks which I'm secretly pleased about because I know I would not be able to resist TBS, L'occitane or the Cosmetic Company Store.
We went to the Trafford Centre and I have some INs but not bought by me. MrM treated me to some Elemis PCMC (my HG which I had run out of) in a kit with Pro-Collagen serum and eye renewal. Said it was to reward me for my weight loss. He's lovely isn't he?
The Ciate Bon Bon colour looks lovely. I do rather like the look of the muted colours myself and am trying to resist buying a bottle of OPI Tickle my Francey.**tracey** wrote: »I was tempted by the LIB box but am resisting. I was also looking forward to seeing the Gatineau tsv but am not quite at the advanced anti ageing stage yet so that is a bit more money saved.
Wow, I had forgotten all about the Gatineau TSV - am I cured of my QVC addition, I wonder?? It's looking like that we will be at Cheshire Oaks next Sunday so will miss QVC Super Sunday which is just as well as I know there will be shows featuring OPI, Elemis and Yankee Candle.Ohh, forgot to say, and I don't know how as I'm very excited about it, me and OH have booked a hol this morning to Crete in September. :j

Am so excited about your holiday too. Whereabouts in Crete are you staying? We went on our first holiday together to Creite - stayed at Aghious Nikolaus (sp?).
You have time though to get into a weight loss plan and you sound motivated if you have already joined WW.
I know what you mean about getting excited about shopping for cosmetics for your hols. The excites me more than clothes shopping! I usually like getting together all my travel sizes but we don't have to worry about baggage allowance this year so can take everything bar the kitchen sink!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

UU:
avene mini cleanser - WBA
avene mini moisturiser - WBA, this was a really nice lotion that sank in quickly and made my skin lovely and smooth. had SPF20 too!
bare minerals skin revver-upper - HG and already replaced :A
chloe love perfume - WBA, i already have a full one in the stash :rotfl:
AD skin Synergy oil - WBA, i really like this and this sample has gone a surprisingly long way meaning the full size, although expensive would last and make it slightly more :money: however, still not as :money: as just making my own and that would prob have exactly the same effect.
elemis hand creme mini - WBA, already have a second mini tube of this on the go :rotfl:
GA:
Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil travel size - WNBA, made me break out. like the elemis cleanser, i think its the ingredient that causes the oil to milk reaction that my skin hates.0 -
