Just when I thought I was getting through the stash of shower gel (only 3 left)... My friend gives me a bottle of S&G clean on me 500ml. I have opened it already and I will try to use up as quickly as possible.

There are some animals species that have got less time left on planet earth before extinction than it takes to use up a bottle of that stuff! Normally it's :money: for shower gel to last that long, but I'm never going there again...and I only had one bottle, unlike some here! :p

I haven't posted in ages so apologies. I'm also a newbie. I know we said no toilettries, but what happens if you buy a lipstick to replace one you have used up -does this count?

Nope, that's a totally legitimate replacement...if it's good enough to replace, then it's fine. ;)

Another UU: Sendsodyne Pronamel toothpaste. WIBA? Yes, cos my dentist says so. It costs a ruddy fortune. I think he's on commission. :(

Also, a little :j for me: I've passed the 50 products mark for this year. I know it's not as spectacular as some people's UU rate, but they have all been full-sized products and the amount of S P A C E using them up has created has been amazing! :D

Also, potential beauty tip ladies: a woman I work with, who is nearly 50 and has great skin, said that she uses Bio Oil as her night cream. Boots have got a BOGOF on the large 200ml bottle (online only - I checked) and I'm nearly at the end of my night cream, so I've ordered one (well, two, IYKWIM) to see if it really is that good. I figure that if it doesn't do the trick I can just use it everywhere else, as everyone raves about it so much. :)

Firstly, Happy Belated Birthday to Maddiemay :bdaycake:
SO jelly!!!!! I would kill for a holiday!

To be honest it'll be a bit of a stretch paying it off but I figured it'll be worth it! We went to Egypt last year so I had all new holiday stuff then so I really don't need to mad buying lots of new things - although I may need to remind myself that!!

We went to the Trafford Centre and I have some INs but not bought by me. MrM treated me to some Elemis PCMC (my HG which I had run out of) in a kit with Pro-Collagen serum and eye renewal. Said it was to reward me for my weight loss. He's lovely isn't he?

Wow, I had forgotten all about the Gatineau TSV - am I cured of my QVC addition, I wonder?? It's looking like that we will be at Cheshire Oaks next Sunday so will miss QVC Super Sunday which is just as well as I know there will be shows featuring OPI, Elemis and Yankee Candle.

Am so excited about your holiday too. Whereabouts in Crete are you staying? We went on our first holiday together to Creite - stayed at Aghious Nikolaus (sp?).

You have time though to get into a weight loss plan and you sound motivated if you have already joined WW.

I know what you mean about getting excited about shopping for cosmetics for your hols. The excites me more than clothes shopping! I usually like getting together all my travel sizes but we don't have to worry about baggage allowance this year so can take everything bar the kitchen sink!

What a nice treat from MrM. Definitely sounds like you're making mega progress on the Q front! Well done! :T

We're staying in Panormo, near Rethythmo so further to the west of the island than Agios Nikolaos - cannot wait! I'm glad its not just me on the toiletry holiday shopping front! We've got 20kg baggage allowance so not too bad. When we went to Egypt we only had 15kg and I had to put some of my things in MrEm's case or I'd have been over weight - we were only going for a week :o

Ideally I'd like to lose quite a bit of weight beforehand so feeling focussed at the moment - I'm much better when I have a target such as a holiday or wedding to aim for than just being good generally, that's when I come unstuck! Wish me luck!!

Holiday sounds great Emsjune, agree that ValM is doing so well on the Q front, I am doing so much better on Q and supermarket/chemist, but I am so tempted by the forthcoming Elemis special, if I do go for it I must not buy anything else in July from anywhere.

It seems that a few of us are trying/needing to loose a few pounds, it's good to know we are not alone in this.

Have a good Monday (if there is such a thing:eek:) sunny here so garden beckons.

    Hi Ladies!

I'm now sooooooo far behind with this thread, finding it really hard to catch up. So will just say - congratuations, welcome and hugs to all that need them!!

There is so much going on at the moment, trying to get mum ready for surgery/ radiotherapy. I did buy some toiletries, but all were for mum. Bought her a nice cross body bag and filled it with stuff I know she will need/ want while she is in hospital.

My body lotion usage is now on day 25 - so far so good, and lovely smooth skin. I have to say, there is such a difference in 'sinking in ability' of different brands. As someone who hardly ever used BL this has come as a bit of a surprise:D

While I was away for a few days last week, I took a mini BL with me -NSPA one, but boy oh boy, did that take an age to sink in:mad::mad::mad: I have to say, if I had have opened this before my Decleor one at the begining of this month, I would have given up after three days!!!

I hope to catch up in a proper fashion later on!

    Hi Ladies!

I have just returned from a lovely break to Bruges with OH for my birthday- what a gorgeous city. And because of that I have a few(!) ins to report - although none were bought ones :D.

We were staying in a fantastic hotel that happened to give you gorgeous L'occitane verbena products. Much to my delight the housekeeper left the housekeeping cart by my door each morning and I may have slipped a few extras in to my pockets on my way to and from breakfast - I would like to feel guilty about this but I really don't and now I have an excellent stash of free L'occitane products! It would have been more if the OH had filled his pockets too but he wouldn't :( Sad times!

    So ins are:
    L'occitane verbena shower gel 50ml
    L'occitane verbena shampoo 30ml
    L'occitane verbena conditioner 30ml
    L'occitane verbena body lotion 30ml
    L'occitane verbena soap 15g

I don't think I will mention quantities but lets just say my bag was extra heavy on the way back!

And 2 little sachet outs while we were there:
L'oreal shampoo and a hair mask conditioner. These were fine but nothing extraordinary.

    Happy Monday everyone!

    Hello!

So I have my first UU to report...

    1. Sanctuary Charcoal Warming Detox Mask

WNBA, I've used better clay masks and I am not really sure if they even make this anymore-its been at the back of the bathroom cupboard since time began...

I am going to have to edit my stash list as I keep finding lip balms around the house/in bags. I never realised how many I had-I don't think I will ever graduate from lip balms!

I think it will be impossible for me to graduate from lip balms, I have loads which are all in use and they seem to be breeding :rotfl:
