Tokkiandoliver - what a nice thing to do, hope it cheers your friend up.

LadyMorticia - glad you are feeling better.

Two uu already this month, they were on their last legs last month though.

BS Cammomile eye make up remover - wba - very effective.
Nice n Easy colour conditioner - the tube which comes with the hair colour, did the job well enough.

Day two of June, and second UU for me! :D

So far I have finished LE Gentle Face Exfoliator- WBA definitely my HG and I have three more in stock!

Also LE Conditioner- didn't like this at first but after a few uses it has left my hair really soft. I WMBA but have quite a conditioner stash to use up first.

I think I'll also be throwing away a few nail varnishes this weekend as quite a few have gone really gloopy and are a pain to use. No point keeping them really. Also hoping to eBay a few bits that I won't use.

I was so rubbish at keeping up with UUs and goals last month, I blame my exams!!! I can properly go through quality of stuff, list stuff on ebay, chuck etc this month as I'm moving and really make some progress.
I've just cancelled my beauty box subscriptions... all of them  Mostly due to moving, may have to get Amarya again in the future.
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

What are your thoughts on how long to keep eye shadow pallets? I am working on two at the mo and have made some good progress but they have been open for a while now and I am a bit paranoid about getting an eye infection.

The only eye product I am super careful with is mascara. I am not too worried about anything else especially as I don't line inside my eyes or anything like that. I do always use clean make-up brushes though so hopefully my eyeshadows are not crawling eith bacteria. All the make-up artists and gurus online seem to use their eyeshadows for years with no ill effects.

I recently read an article that said you should throw eyeshadows away after 3-6 months. I can't believe the companies that make large palettes think people will chuck them away after a few months. Even if I used my Naked palette everyday I would not get through it in that time.

So yay me for making it through day 1.

:jYay you! Only another 29 to go! Quite poor I thought on the TSV front this month so I am hoping to only get my Amarya this month as INs and make a dent in the stash. Think I have finally had my LBM when I started to add up how much I must have spent accumulating the stash which is now in practically every room in the house in some guise or another. Would probably have part funded a new kitchen.:(
    Hello ladies :)

I will be having some GA's shortly as I just met someone at work who is going through a tough time with money and other personal things, so I'm going to give her a pick me up gift bag full of products. Helps her and helps me clear out :)

How kind of you - what a great friend to have.

Have managed to notch up 2 UUs already which I feel quite pleased about:

Philosophy hope in a tube - WBA when stash diminished - this seemed to last an age and was very rich and moisturising. Seemed to help my wrinkles too which was great. I tended to use it mainly as an eye cream but it could be used on the lips too. On to some Liz E daily eye repair and serum now - 5ml sizes so shouldn't take me too long to UU.

Elemis melting cleansing gel - wouldn't rush out again for this (have 2 in stash anyway :o) - as reported last month the lid popped off the tube so it was messy to get out. I liked the smell but it was a bit of a faff having to remember to put it on before I got in the shower. Am going to try a Soap and Glory face wash next.

    Happy Jubilee everyone

Have they restricted the no of items you can sell now as a private seller? I have loads to put on there - was planning a mass listing. Aaaarghhh

Eye products are good for years and years - bacteria need water to grow so it's really only liquid products that go bad.

For the mascara, try taking the brush out and wiping it clean. Sometimes it's just dried mascara on the brush making it clumpy and the rest of the formula is fine.

Thanks Skyllo. I will sort the mascara brush this afternoon.

That is a good point Hermia. It is in the interests of the company for you to TA the palettes every few months so you need to rebuy regularly. Think of the increased sales and profit.

I treated myself this morning and went to my beauty therapist for a brow shape and eyelash tint. Heaven! I haven't been in 6 months  due to severe belt tightening. I used my travel claim cash to pay for this with enough left over for a meal out tomorrow night. Oh how I miss getting treatments regularly.

Rosemary - It may be worth emailing ebay about the item restriction, I am a private seller and have listed 30 items over a weekend on a couple of occasions. I didn't know they had a restriction but they might up it for you, after all it is in their interests, they make money too.

Had a TA today, a Jillian Dempsey for Avon Brow styler pencil in Grey, heaven knows why I got grey, my brows are brown. Anyway it had broken mysteriously (down to DD I think).

I thought the free listings were applicable up to 100 items. I'll have to get my act together and put some things on.

Have just had a nosey at the TV Guide for this month and there really is nothing exciting is there? The L'Occitane would have been a possible if it was a kit including liquid soap and hand cream. I usually have a look at the Yankee Candle one but those have been so uninspiring for so long that I've given up buying from QVC - they only sell the same handful of fragrances. I see there's one called Nail Boutique on 29 June but I really can't buy any more lacquers! Then on 1 July there seem to be three TSVs and one is Elemis. I'll probably need some more PCMC by then so we'll see.

Anyway day 2 and I've still been good. I did buy some shampoo as predicted and was pleased that Sainsburys still had the VO5 on BOGOF so got 2 x shampoos. Can't believe how quickly we have got through the last bottle.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
