I used to feel like this, that I wanted to treat myself at the beginning of the month. I did get a rude awakening when I saw my VISA bill this time though and am determined to go cold turkey. Thankfully, I have a HG mascara so have not been tempted by this at all. My HG is Clinique Lash Power. My current tube is feeling quite light so am hoping it will see me through this month. I'm pretty sure I have another Clinique one in stash that was a GWP so that would have to do if I run out this month.

So yay me for making it through day 1.

One IN from yesterday, a mini Benefit porefessional from Glamour. I had a go with it this morning, and I would say my face is slightly less greasy at the end of the day.
I'm definitely tempted by next month's Glamour freebies though

I have been rushing about all day today. Work was crazy busy and then I was straight out afterward. I have now just come home and realised I forgot to look for the Glamour mag :doh:.

What are your thoughts on how long to keep eye shadow pallets? I am working on two at the mo and have made some good progress but they have been open for a while now and I am a bit paranoid about getting an eye infection.

Possible OUT looming in my Clinique Mascara which has started to go on a bit clumpy today. It has only been open for two months so I do feel I bit cheated out of a month. I will know for sure over the weekend.

L'oreal elvive hair conditioner - it was on offer so I bought it. This was the only full size conditioner I have in my stash. Going to use up my samples so I won't have to buy hair conditioner for another 3 weeks hopefully


Bare minerals foundation in light - this was a sample size and I would totally buy again!!! Altho in a darker shade, I love this foundation so much. I am spluttering on my 2nd sample pot. Once I finish my other foundations I will go purchase this.

Eye products are good for years and years - bacteria need water to grow so it's really only liquid products that go bad.

For the mascara, try taking the brush out and wiping it clean. Sometimes it's just dried mascara on the brush making it clumpy and the rest of the formula is fine.

I paid my usual visit to M&S and was horrified to see their fantastic cheapo make up range has been discontinued. Maybe you know this already. I’m so disappointed. The nail varnishes and lip glosses were an absolute steal and excellent quality. They’ve got a new Limited Collection range, perhaps the formula is the same, but the colours certainly aren’t and the price has gone up :-(
