Hello, I'm in again, thanks for the new thread sunshineyday.

I'm happy to be starting June with some UUs:

Jo Malone French lime blossom body cream. Gorgeous stuff, very scented. It was a present two years ago and I just wasn't using it much cos it was so posh and I felt I should save it for best. However, after being introduced to PRCP here I used it and enjoyed it. WIBA? It's heinously expensive so wouldn't buy it for every day but would be very happy to get it as a present!

Miss Sporty lip gloss sorbet. This was of quite a vintage. I remember having it in November 2007 cos the boyfriend I was with then remarked on how nice it tasted. I've been married for three years to DH, whom I met in early 2008, so the lip gloss seems to belong to another era. Anyway since rediscovering it I've been using it and it's still lovely. Easily as nice as juicy tubes. WBA when lipgloss stash is exhausted......in 2017.......

Palmolive mineral spa shower gel. Blue with bits in. Smells lovely. I seemed to get through this very quickly and couldn't work out why. Then my husband said, "when are you going to get more of that blue shower gel? It's my new favourite" and the penny dropped. He has been converted from his usual man-flavoured shower gel (salt and pepper or salt and vinegar or something). So obviously I WBA and have. Dropped into Wilko's and they had this for £1 a go so I bought him four.

Only one IN for May apart from the shower gel. Bought some bruise ointment called Arnicare from Boots because in the good weather my running club like to go off road, including on river banks where it is easy to fall over tree roots and land on lumps of concrete on your thigh, causing a massive purple and green bruise!

Forgot to add, my quest to UU the self tan mountain led me to crack open a bottle of Piz Buin 'summer sensation' gradual tan. From TK Maxx (my life has changed since I learned to control myself in that shop).

Using it has been a challenge because of the smell. Imagine a deep, damp dungeon. You have just imagined the smell of Piz Buin summer sensation. I'm sticking with it on my legs because it does build up to a pretty good, natural looking colour with no orange but I WNBA because of the smell. Other companies manage to produce gradual tanners that smell nice.

Good luck with the challenge this month ladies.

I'm in again for another month - expecting to have to buy deoderant at some point but can't think of anything else.

Having my new shower installed today! :j:j:j Havn't had one since we moved into this house 3.5 years ago so it'll be a real luxury.

And Helen, I'm also addicted to TK Maxx - I could spend hours in there! I have found some real bargains down the years though, my mates have stopped asking me where I've got an item of clothing etc from as they already know the answer! :o

I have a big exam at the beginning of July so most of my month will be spent huddled over books. Going to be a difficult month and not made easier by the temptation of football...but here's to a good June :)

From the May thread, how wonderful, Scrappie. Money can't buy happiness, but getting a windfall sure does bring a lot of pleasure.
Thank you Sunshineyday for starting us off this month.
    Welcome to all newbies!
This should be a No Spend Month, zilch is needed, though I may be a bit low on body lotion/cream by the end of it. I'll just use my spare Hydro Urea foot cream if I do run out - it's unscented. Last month I had a few gifted ins, plus the Amazon Vine £21 eye cream freebie and the Easy Living body cream.
Will try not to succumb to freebies too much, unless they are needed. Graduation gets a few steps nearer.

    I'm in. :D

I didn't really participate much last month because of the pregnancy taking it's toll with the nausea and I just didn't feel upto pampering myself but it's subsiding abit now so I can hopefully use some things up. :)

I'm in for June. Thanks sunshineyday for starting us off again.
    Welcome newbies and returners.

My hair is feeling a lot better today, I have washed it with the sample of pantene in the glamour mag and it feels soft again so I feel the BS Ice blue shampoo must have been drying it out. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and if it is that it's out. Actually as I am typing this I have decided not to try it again, my hair is so bouncy and lovely today I don't want it to look flat and dry again.

Oh by the way i am loving my real techniques make up brushes I bought earlier in the week. One of them is called a deluxe crease brush and it is fantastic, I can't believe I muddled on for years with rubbish brushes and those little applicators your eyeshadows come with. I love to buy eyeshadow but it never looked good on, now I know why. These brushes were money well spent.

I never got on with ice blue shampoo either.

I thought real techniques brushes were only available in the states? Would be very pleased if I could buy them here!

Well done Scrappie - thats fantastic !!! Did you claim by yourself or did you use a company? I got told that even though I hadnt signed up for any PPI type of things, becuase i dont pay my cards off all in one go I would probably atuomatically have it added on - but ive got no idea how to find that out (im sure theres somewhere on here that will tell me how to claim it back - it worked wonders wiuht the credit card thing!)

Trudij - I did all off my own back. When you only need to send a letter/ fill in a form initially. I don't see the point in paying these claim firms.

Do you have any old statements? If PPI was added it should be listed on there. If not, contact the company involved, ask them to send you a copy of your loan/ CC agreement.

    NOW back on topic

Have got another 2wk sick note - want so badly to go back to work, but just know I'm still not 'right' - but can also see that I am heading in the right direction.

Decided this morning (after seeing all my body lotions in the bathroom) that I WILL use body lotion every day in June. Of course, 5 mins after thinking this I promptly forgot - so I'm off upstairs now to apply! This should give me supersoft skin by the time I'm off on my hols in Sept:D

Problem - I really, really want today's TSV:eek::eek::eek: It's the first of the month, I should be able to do better than this???

Helen - they are available in Boots, they do some individual brushes and two sets is a case, 5 brushes in the eye set and 4 in the face set. They really are fab, also 10 points per £1 for the bank holiday when you spend £15 or more in store so even better.
