well yes, my ten year old has a coke occasionally and nothing is forbidden fruit for him - but a 2 year old doesn't need to know coke exists.'bad mothers club' member 13

Was at a carvery restaurant the other day and a dad came with his two little girls. One looked about 4 and the other about 2.
Both seemed very well behaved but I felt for them / the dad when he had to bribe them with coke to be good. He went to get his meal and told them to be good while he was gone. But instead of just saying that he said 'well go to tescos on the way home and buy a big box of coke for you if your good tonight'. Both kids suddenly perked up and shut up, didnt say a word for nearly the entire night until dad said they couldnt have desert. Kids got a bit stroppy (as Id imagine most toddlers would!!). His first come back was 'no coke for you if you dont be quiet!' and the kids did shut up.
I just wanted to laugh / stare in disbelief at it!Green and White Barmy Army!0
