That's a good plan, people want a clear idea of what they *can* order (as opposed to wondering if it's something you can do...) and they want to know how much it'll cost without having to go to all the effort of getting in touch and asking!
With that said.... I may be in the market for a mousemat and a couple of coasters at some point. I've moved desks at work and want to cheer up my little area.
Well done for not getting carried away in Ikea CMD! It's so easy to pick up things because they're there and oh-so-tempting! I don't think I've ever come out with *just* the item I went for!
Yes, I also agree with Birdie that it would be a good idea to see a selection of what you can do and the price. I think people want things to be as simple as possible nowadays and if you click and something and it isn't clear then you'll move on to the next site. Is this what your Dad does full time Dinah?
Very easy to get carried away Birdie. I am happy to say that we didn't stray from the list. Probably a first for me!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thrilled with myself. I had to buy a bottle of champagne
for a wedding gift, to go along with the coasters and champagne glasses. I used up my Tesco vouchers and got it for €25 instead of €50. I think I have finally trained myself to be more savvy.
Also good news re: the 20% deposit proposal. Looks like we will only need 10% up to a level of €220,000 and anything we borrow after that will be at the level of 20%. So we have enough saved for a deposit. Just need to have 3 payslips, find a house we like and continue to bring that credit card balance down.
So all in all. Not a bad day Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That's great news CMD! :T What an incentive to really hammer the debt now, the sooner it's gone, the sooner you can buy!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Thanks Birdie. Yes it's a pretty big incentive alright. Can't wait to see the back of that BOI cc to be honest. Its like a big weight on my shoulder. At least the other card is at 0% until April 2016 so it's doing its own thing!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Well it's going to be a NSD today. My friend is coming over with her kids but we will make rice crispie buns. The online shopping thing is really working out for me ax I'm spending way less than I would in-store. Stops me going upstairs and buying unnecessary clothes as well.
Bit of an unexpected free morning. DS & DD go to the same preschool but DD only goes on a Tue & Thursday cos she's only 3. When I got there this morning their teacher said there was a child out and did DD want to come in. She said yes so I'm going to spend the morning productively. I need to fill in a life insurance form and get the house back to the level of tidieness it has been.
