Sorry to hear about Kia
unfortunately its not the first time and wont be the last, its about time these so called rescues were regulated and had people to answer to :mad:A heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!

I don't think it's fair taking it out on the rescue, they had problems with the chip like I did too, even my vet wasn't getting anything up when she scanned it. Had Kia almost 3 months now and thats us only just got the chip sorted. Rescue were told she was approx 5 and she looks and acts about that age.
These things just happen I guess.0 -
Con - if everyone had such problems with the chip.. perhaps it reads wrong, have a vet look her over properlu, perhaps this will give a better idea?0

How does it stand with your insurance? the 5 years age difference? did you speak to them?0

half of me wants to know if its the same rescue that palmed me off with a 5 year old that turned out to be 10 ...
but I'm not going to ask you to pm me details of what rescue, while people want to live in ignorance and put it down to "these things just happening" then these 'rescues' will continue to do thisA heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!

Tell me the name of the rescue and I will let you know. I'm not living in ignorance I had the same problems with the chip that the rescue had so I can't really blame anyone here which is part of why it annoys me so much - trust me it would be a lot easier if I thought the rescue was at fault.
GR - the problem seems to be that the petlog people were trying to contact prev owners before they would give us any info let us change info, which is correct. When the vet was scanning no details were there ( I don't know how the whole thing works and what vets 'should' see'.
My insurance will be about £6 more expensive a month, they have changed the details for me, more expensive due to age but a bit less expensive as she is reg as a GSD x0 -

Kaelea could you PM me or let me know on here. As much as I can't think to blame the rescue I am intrigued as to what happened with the dog you have/had.0
-
I am in contact but that's no reason not to tell me, especially if you think something wrong happened, if there is something dodgy and it is perhaps the same rescue I would really like to know, as I won't want to be helping out a rescue who lies to people.
Tell me where they are based if you do not want to tell me the full name to begin with. If they aren't the same areas I think then I can rule them out.0 -
Sent you a pm, very short and sweet, I'm a bit busy right now ... lost keys .. arghhA heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!
