I got mine back today. Normal renewal (not check & send) although I did do the first bit of the form online, then they sent the form out to me to sign & send off with photos etc. I sent off for it on 31st May, so happy that I got it back within 3 weeks :-) (especially as I'm travelling in another 3 weeks!)

You should get a callback within 48 hours that will let you know what stage your application is at. You still have a while before you travel, but if it has not arrived 3 days before you go you can call and upgrade.
  • Yh but every time I phne them they keep saying sorry the Durham po is really busy we will email them and tell them to contact u in 48 hours, a whole week has past and still nuttin ?

Sent DD's renewal on 17th June, got it back today :j

Used the online forms they sent me, took & printed my own photos and didn't use the check and send.

    Great service.
