I managed to get a Finest Topside roasting joint. SEL said half price £6 per kilo. The label on the joint was £12 a kilo. Scanned at full price so got double the difference at CS. So, freebie to take to mam's on Sunday. Thanks to the OP.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

This might be a bit of a silly question to all experienced bargain hunters, but is there any way to see what a product scans for in Tesco without taking it to the check out? Like is there normally in larger Tesco's some machine where you can check this?

Welcome to the forum. Yes, many Tesco stores have a self-scanner where you can check out prices before you approach the check-out. In my local store it's located on a pillar in the middle of the clothing section but most stores will have one hidden away somewhere. They are never terribly obvious and hunt-the-self-scanner is a bit of a game! You may find a helpful assistant who will point you in the right direction.

There is a also a thread on this website which lets you know where your local one hides their scanner.

Tesco Finest pork chops, SEL says 1/3 off, but packs marked and scanned at full price. Got DTD back on 2 packs, so about £1.50 each instead of £4.50 each.
I think offer runs until 10 April.
