Also purchased several childrens books reduced from £5 to £1.25 - good for stocking fillers and presents. They scanned wrong as well!
Thanks Mr T!

The books were: Mother goose bedtime story collection, Thomas the Tank (6 books), The wheels on the bus book and toy, and some others. All reduced to £1.25 from £5 - all scanned at the wrong price, another DTD!
Also found the Uno cards (remember them?!) scanning at £1.25. Bought 3 packs, left a few packs right at the back of the shelf. They're the ones with the gold diagonal strip on the top. didn't check the other Uno style packs - got a bit fed up of walking to clothing scanner every 2 mins! Other 2 scanners are broken - surprise.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not!!
We bought the Tomtom Go live 820 UK & Ireland sat nav on Saturday. The shelf label said £138 but the online price was £168 (many places selling it at £199).
We paid for it and got charged £168, queried it with customer services and got DTD back. So £60 back, meaning we only paid £108 for it!!!!

Have just got back from tesco and they had 4 bt phones which were £130 down to £60. However the deal ended yesterday so dtd back of £140. An I please ask, if I take them back will I get a refund of £130 and be able to keep the £140 dtd or will there be a fuss?0

It depends if they have signed/wrote over the receipt. If they haven't then go for it!:T
If they have then they will question it and make a fuss.0 -
This is very store specific, but I thought I would post regardless.
I went into Mr T's C@rm@rth3n at around 10pm last night. In the freezer aisle I picked up 2 Carte Dor withan SEL saying they were buy one get one free. Went to the tills, self service, paid and when i looked at my receipt, the discount I had been given was 2 for £5.
They were £3.99 each so £2.98 had come off my bill.
I then asked the assistant on self service (I know she also works on CS desk). She went to check and said "the deal starts tomorrow, we always put them out at this time of night". She then gave me £3.99 back. Doing quick maths in my head i didn't even mention DTD.
She had given me £3.99 and i had £2.98 off my bill, totalling 6.97 meaning the icecream had cost me £1.01 for two pots.
If I had DTD, I had only been overcharged £1.01 (due to the 2 for £5) do I would only have had £2.02 back instead of the £3.99 that she gave me.
I hope this makes sense and some of you grab some bargains on a Monday night!!0 -
Just picked up 3 x BT freelance xb2500 cordless phones & answering machine (3 phones per pack) ood sel 10/6/12 stated was £119.98 was charged ££109.98 & should have been £49.98 over charged £60 on each pack so paid £30.00 to take them away. Was offered a refund & then to be sold them back at sel price. I politly declined & said I would be happy to accept dtd0
