I just found an out of date SEL, the cheese selection pack (£3)..turns out they had put another very similar cheese selection pack in its place and left the yellow half price offer label there. Was not given DTD after waiting for 10mins in the queue so got a refund of £6 because the weight of the pack was 6g heavier0

Good find! But let me just say why is there only a couple of posts in here each day now? When I said lets have the old version back, I used to see pages and pages of DTD threads, now I can only see a few posts for today. You must have noticed?0

maybe Tesco are sharper on their pricing these days....
Or, more likely, maybe people don't bother posting the things they find because
a) they are usually store specific anyway because one store has forgotten to change a SEL...
b) they don't want it broadcast so either lurkers or Tesco can read about it...
or c) they are sharing this information elsewhere.
Whatever the reason, things move on and maybe the DTD shenanigans is just getting boring now :rotfl:0 -

When it was r&r it was worth finding things that were even just 1p different as you got it free. With DTD its only really exciting if you are charged twice the sel price which doesn't happen as often.0 -
2L white casserole dish in clearance section of crockery, SEL £3.25 charged £4.50.0

Just come back from Accr1ngt0n Tescos where I purchased 12 bottles of Hardys Crest Rose wine - scanned at £8.59, SEL £4.99. Customer Service asked would I like a refund and then I'll sell them back to you? Er, no thanks I'll have DTD please!
Also purchased several childrens books reduced from £5 to £1.25 - good for stocking fillers and presents. They scanned wrong as well!
Thanks Mr T!

Oh, this happened to me today too  The £10 Finest Meal Deal changed over today and some of the old labels were still up. This meant the offer didn't kick in :j
I'd included the creamed spinach as my side which isn't on the list now, (but was, according to their OOD SEL.) Ended up being charged £17.99, so £15.98 DTD
As I approached CS they said, "Oh, no another Meal Deal, been happening all morning!" They also offered to buy back & resell for £10. "Er, no, I'll have DTD thank-you!" Didn't quibble once I'd askedWorse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0
