They have refunded the £44 and also given me £20 voucher but wondered if I should ask for the DTD

I placed an order online with Tescos, and I ordered 16 Cherries (which were half price) and they charged me £44 on my bill yet they should have cost 62p. Am I entitled to double the price back = £88??

I was told you can't get DTD on online orders :(

It does worry me that the weighed items are copied over to the bill incorrectly, I had the same this week with pears. Very easy to miss it unless the price amount is large.

Today in my local store I saw cases of 12 x 330ml bottles of Corona Extra (imported Mexican beer) in a stack labelled 3 for £22.

I bought 6 cases, but was charged £66. Obviously this was a £22 overcharge, so I got a DTD refund of £44.

    I used a £5 off coupon too, so I got 72 bottles for £17 = 24p per bottle.

Got a dtd yesterday on Tesco Finest Prosecco yellow SEL stated price reduced to 7.99 from 9.99 at tills scanned at full price. Had bought 3 bottles so dtd got me £12 back - tesco B***ick upon Tw**d CS were brilliant and gave me dtd without having to ask.

Depending on what else you bought in your shop, you should get a JTD worth £6.03 back if you put it through the Tesco Price Check online too, as it's £7.98 in Asda. Ah, my home town - didn't have a T's there when I lived there!
  • Ok so today I have just got

4 x 4 finger Kit Kats at Tesco - SEL £1.00 (NOT only that but a great big sign and display stand)

These are all called Brit Kats for the Jubilee

    Anyway till costs £1.50

So went back for DTD and got back £1.49

Who knows how I got more than DTD but thought you guys may like DTD. Unfortunately no money to be made on this one :(

  • I poste the above in the general forum as nobody seems to talk on here anymore about DTD, what on earth happened to the big interest.

I think this thread should be closed and all post again in the main forum. What do you think guys, you can't even respond on here without getting everything mixed up :-(

The b-guide that removed my post :-/ !!!

    so am I.

I think it makes far more sense to have all the DTD opportunities/reports on one thread. It has always worked that way in the past (for years and years!) and there's no reason why it won't continue to do so.

Most people, me included, know to come on this thread to find the misprices. The title gives people a clue as well ;)

Yep I agree keep this thread running, it's easier than running through 10 pages of chat every 2 hours.
