i work independently for a MLM company Akuna - coz dont want 2 work for the rest of my life :) and also am in the process of setting up my other business which will offer polish-english translating services (more 1 on 1 - eg. acting as a translator for ppl in banks, at doctors etc,) as opposed to pure translating services (however that will also be an option)
so we will see how it goes:)

I run a small luxury private hire business... have just started out and things are looking pretty good. If I make it through the year I will be happy!

Life is sometimes a bit pants but occasionally you can wear your french knickers! :D
  • Another IT geek I'm afraid. Run a web design company we can deal with all aspects of web design from graphic/logo work to SEO and ecommerce stuff, pm for details :p. Been going for about 18 months now and business is starting to pick up. On the back of this I have a couple of ecommerce sites and a few other sites that pay for themself and give me a bit of profit by having affiliate links and ads on them. I have a few ideas for other ecommerce sites but no time to get them sorted right now, I guess that's a good sign!
  • I also own and run a gift shop which sells lots of lovely things for friends, family and the home! Agree with amytightwad - the buying is the best bit - the paying for the stock and the overheads is the worst bit!!
  • What a great thread, I'm also a lurker I'm afraid but we have an Antique Furniture Restoration business in Devon.
