This is my first post...I joined particularly to add my disgust at this company's customer service.
2 Weeks ago I took 2 items into the shop (I live local...they also trade as 'Blackpool Logo's') to have a 1 word (8 letters) logo embroidered on each of them, they were for a pair of car seats I am having upholstered.
I was told it would be about 1week...The guy there was pretty grumpy and didn't instill confidence but I left them there anyway along with a printout I had done of the logo and the website address for the .jpg and my landline and mobile number.
I heard nothing but was passing a week later so popped in to see if they were ready.
I was told 'No we are still waiting for the logo to come back from digitising' ...I asked when this might be and he said he didn't know but would ring me to keep me informed.
3 days later (Friday) I still hadn't heard anything so rang them.
I was told they were still waiting but it would be ready the following Tuesday (today)
Still I hadn't received a call so I went down to collect.
As expected they hadn't done them and were 'Still waiting for the logo' !...this time he added 'It's Xmas so it's busy'!
I said 'You have had them 2 weeks' but he didn't care so I said this was unacceptable and collected my blank items and told them I would go elsewhere.I asked for my printout back that I had left them but he said he had lost it!....no apology or anything just an attitude that he couldn't be bothered!
My contact details were also on it...I suspect he lost it early on
So 2 weeks waiting (and keeping my seat upholsterer waiting for them) and nothing done.
In all this time they never rang me once (they couldn't if they had lost my details but didn't mention anything when I rang)
Not once did I get an apology.
The whole impression I got was of total incompetency and a couldn't care less attitude.
I have just taken them to another local embroiderers who seemed really nice and gave a very favourable impression (if I get them back and all is well I will post here who they are to give them some positive feedback)
At least I didn't lose any money unlike some of the poor folk in this thread but felt I had to give a report....avoid them at all cost.:(0 -
Just an update to the post above:
After the terrible service from Blackpool Logos mentioned above I went to another embroiderer and what a difference.
They were very attentive when I explained what I wanted unlike the ignorant guy at Blackpool Logos.
They kept me informed by text message at regular intervals and did a super quality job for £10 less than the idiot at Blackpool Logos quoted....and all within a week.
I was really pleased with their service and will use them again.
They are called Barbaton Ltd based in Hambleton (Poulton Le Fylde) near Blackpool Lancs
