That like what i call two sunglasses syndrome. I have lots of sunglasses and like different ones for different occasions/times/seasons of the year etc. its really annoying when i cannot find the ones i want so grab another pair, then when push them back on top of my head and realise thats where the pair i wanted were all along and i have worn two pairs of glasses all the time.
I wandered into one the other day and wanted to take a close look at something but didn't have my "super strength staring at jewellery in detail secretly" set (£1 poundland 3x magnification glasses).... and I remarked "Oh, not got my glasses". Woman behind the counter said smugly "Oh I always have a spare set in my car in case I forget mine"..... I simply replied .... "So do I". It clearly hadn't occurred to her that I wasn't IN my car!0 -
There was a girl on the bus today who was wearing big plastic glasses.... without any glass. Having just the frames on seemed to be a fashion thing..... it wasn't a joke, or fancy dress, she had actually bought these plastic swirly frames without glass to wear ..... bizarre.0

Its not ideal, but it'll be fine - not like its the first time ever.
Its either:
a) my brother is coming back for the weekend, so I am 'bad child' and he is the 'good child' (it used to be a lot more like this - only space in the good books for one at a time)
b) I have done something terrible that I am not aware of. I think I would have been told (loudly and clearly) by now if that was the case though I think.
Hopefully the wind will change direction soon - or I find out what it is I have done so I can try and deal with it
Edit - anyway, how are you LIR? Hope you are taking it suitably easy0 -
Oh - and I forgot, it is parent in questions's day off today... so I have been in hiding. But I have done some data analysis0

This started happening in that London about five years ago, about the same time as 20 somethings started going to bars in hosting wearing flat caps in a non ironic manner. I think low grade celebrities started it.
Bizarre, I agree.0 -

Oh my mother is like that. I am good one atm. Which is nice, but dh reminds me not to forget the sun always goes behind the clouds eventually, and not to get too .....used to it.
I am ok. I am a bit grumpier than usual i notice. Snapped at people a coiuple of times to day. I hate behaving like that, its totally unforgivable to take how one feels oneself out on someone else imo. So i am suffering s bit of self loathing, but i will get over it. I am still irritable at the same time though. 'they' have suggested i do not read in the evenings for a while , in case this is straining the eye or something which is no more dr amtic to me than suggesting i remove a leg or an arm. I am in a bit of panic about what i will do in bed when dh is not here. (ps chewy , dh irons too). And my head hurts a littl ebit. But if the worst in life is a nit of a headache and irritability life cannot be THAT bad.0 -

I'm pretty sure you have been dealing with the trials of the past few months with much more good humour than the vast majority of us would manage, so don't be too hard on yourself.0 -

I dunno how well have dealt with it tbh. Been a few tears and tantrums. Not proud of that. I am definitely more panicky than last time i needed so much intervention. I used to quite like procedures because at least they are interesting. I am, or was , curious and intersted.

It's to make people look smart and stupid at the same time.0
