And remember, I'm the person who loses my keys so often that I have to have them attached to my mobile phone so I can ring them up (from the landline, natch) when they're lost and hear where they are.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

. I am going to need a minder soon.
I went to the dry cleaners a couple of months ago - they have everyone in their database based on their mobile phone number so they ask you that. I didn't have a clue what it was, my mind was completely blank.
I have also lost my car in the same way that silvercar has - spent 30 mins walking around the wrong carpark trying to find it, and can never remember which locker my clothes are in in the gym.
I also routinely forget everything that OH says to me, but I think that's slightly different!0 -
Hehehe, you are all making me feel better, I lost my car in oxford before, i had to get the car park people help me find it.
In hospital they kept asking how opld i was and i said well my birthday is. Xx xx xx79 and this is 2012 so i am , ten, twenty, yep, i am 33. Every time. They thought this was funky so i got embarrassed and was asking them if i was counting wrong..

My aunt is amazing. She's in hospital, having fallen and broken a wrist and a knee. I went to visit her today. She was in a geriatric ward full of somnolent old ladies, mostly gazing vacantly into space and looking confused when spoken to. They reminded me of the suffering to which Lewy Body dementia reduced my poor mum.
And then there was my aunt - hearing clear as a bell, mind as sharp as anyone I know, interesting, well informed, insightful, articulate, appreciative and encouraging but acerbic at times, and altogether fascinating to talk to.
She asked me how my dad was. I said he was doing very well, but that while he's always been a deliberate thinker rather than a quick one (with which she emphatically agreed) his thought processes have slowed down further now. She said it was only to be expected, because after all, he is 86. And I thought, "yeah right, your mind hasn't slowed down in the slightest, and you're 90". Hope I grow old like her.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Yesterday I came out of Tesco and couldn't remember where the car was, OH left the key in the (outside of the) front door, was in the library and the previous machine user had left their card in the machine.
So we all have random acts of forgetfulness all the time.
I've previously told a friend I couldn't find my mobile phone.
I was speaking to them on a phone.
My mobile phone.
This was 10 years ago and thankfully the aging process hasn't really impacted on me yet as this is still, by far, the worst example of ..... well whatever it is.0 -

Hahahaha.
That like what i call two sunglasses syndrome. I have lots of sunglasses and like different ones for different occasions/times/seasons of the year etc. its really annoying when i cannot find the ones i want so grab another pair, then when push them back on top of my head and realise thats where the pair i wanted were all along and i have worn two pairs of glasses all the time.0 -

I seem to have forgotten why one of my parents hasn't been talking to me for the past couple of days... Oh wait! They haven't informed me0 -
I tend not to lose things .... or forget where the car is ... because they're part of my "Terrified To..." list. Every time I park the car in a car park, I get out, stop, look around, spot the clues, work out where it is ..... actively making that note.
For bags etc, I try to only ever have ONE bag I am carrying. That way I know [a] I always have a bag of sorts .... There's only one.
If I have more than two bags and I have to let go, I wrap them together, entwining the handles, so I can't overlook anything. Then, when I am leaving a space, I treble check

1] Wrong outfit.... decided when I was waiting for the bus, but not enough time to run home and change. Oh well.
2] Had to do a writing brief; liked my writing style
3] Didn't c0ck up the interview, but they didn't ask any daft questions.
4] Hold ups held up .... but once I got my shoes off I discovered my toe-nail had poked through the end; annoying as they were a new pair.
Overall though, I think I didn't 'sparkle'... so I've probably come 2nd or 3rd.
Had a lovely hot pasty though
This sounds quite positive from you PN0
