I am now really tired, but want to be really angry but don't have the energy. Have finally managed to have a good chat with parents about what happened with dad. Apparently it took him a long time to get completed at A&E due to ongoing problems with drunks there who had been fighting (obviously he got seen initially quickly, but the staff were having to keep leaving their patients to deal with other unruly elements).

Anyhow, when my parents left the hospital there was a trouble-maker outside. Bear in mind my mum is disabled and walks with two sticks. My dad has just been discharged and my poor s-i-l is trying to get them to the car to get them home. At this time one of the drunks decides it will be a really good idea to kick one of those light reflectors off one of those lit bollard things that you get in the road (sorry tired, can't think of name). Anyhow, it flys towards my mum and hits her in her upper chest and knocks her over. So now I have a dad who's feeling ok and a bruised battered mum who's only bruised and battered because she went to hospital to visit my dad :mad::mad:. !!!!!! is the world coming to?

Zag and I are just doing a bit o business, I will also take the opportunity to vet him for the next nice people get together (not that there has ever been one before).

I would like NP to help me. I would like to persaude DW that DS will still look delicious even with a hair cut (cos long long hair or boys is chavtastic imho) so what would be great would be a nice photo of a mixed race young boy with a medium length hair style (too short is obviously chavtastic too). Thanks

that's horrible, viva. Remember when DW hurt her hand and A&E kept bumping us till 3AM as annoying drunks arrived in terrible states.

Still stand by my earlier claim there should be a normal A&E queue (priority express) and a electrically-fenced sin-bin queue for obnoxious aggressive drunks who only get seen when anyone has an idle moment and ordinary decent folk have all been dealt with thoroughly. :D

Viva really sorry to hear this - part of me says they should get the police to use CCTV to get the scroat convicted but part of me says it is just unneeded hassle over an event that can not be undone.
