May be it was some sor tof post-modern decorating statement - the irony of a society where we use farm land to grow bio-fuels whilst people starve as illstrated by displaying parts of a motorbike in a room normally used for the preparation of food?

I doubt it will feature in "Homes & Garden" or the like.

Now I understand. Interesting shops there. I'm in E. We have no shops but lots of open spaces (as in un-developed park land)
Oh goody - some nice greenbelt to build houses on.

Me neither. More likely would be Social Worker News, or Truant Spotter Weekly, if either title actually existed. Though it could feature in future distopian literature. The motorbike could be an escape metaphor.

It's probably the sugar as the fat just melts. The chocolate itself will make you feel better too as it increases seratonin (the same thing your brain redistributes when you orgasm).

Most cough syrup is just sugar syrup with a flavoring to make it taste of medicine AIUI.

I studied some pharmacology in my first degree and I was amazed at what a wide range of cold remedies and treatments there were, such as antitussives, demulcents, analgesics, etc. Somebody's making a killing out of these cheap simple potions, all for conditions that are more or less incurable (but self-limiting).

Sad people, on sad estates, clueless.

If we were commenting on the homes the general fashion seems to be for motor bikes in the kitchen.

Having been listening to Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance on my ipod /car stereo these last days I'd like think the motorcycle in their kitchens is a symbol to focus their mystical quest for quality and values in their lives. :D

Speaking of good but ancient books , Viva, just seen Alan Garner on the telly discussing how he's completing his "Weirdstone" trilogy after a gap of fifty years. ;)

Brilliant! Thanks for that. I'd best borrow a copy of Weirdstone and get back into it.

The former is aka The Guardian in the common mind at least. The latter the Dail Mail perhaps?

I was thinking that, Olympic gold and first GS for 76 years and you still don't get Sports Personality of the Year...similarly should Lewis H win the F1 championship or Ben Ainslie with his exceptional Olympic record or any of the paralympians or even Mo Farah all of who have acheivements that would justify getting it in most years. Still has to be a Wiggo year. Luckily it remains bsiness as usual with the footballl teams.

Seb Coe has offered real leadership and has personality

it literally coats the throat, soothing it, not for long, but for enough to remind you how it can feel. Thats why i think its the fat cotent being just right. White choco.ate actually makes me a bit raspy, and dark chocolate melts cleaner in the mouth, so i think milk melts at the right consistancy to coat the throat.

    Just try it, huh? :D.

I'll take chocolate as a cure any day! :rotfl: :T
