Sometimes when driving, my foot's been unbearably itchy .... whenever I go out I put a huge strip of plaster on the sole to try to protect it from dirt etc.... and I slip my shoe off and have been madly scratching the sole of my foot on the edge of my clutch pedal :) Or, just banging the itchy area onto the corner of the clutch pedal (banging > scratching as it's less likely to rip the skin open).

    Very pleasurable though.....

Do they? Crikey - well, I'm not known for going into High Street shops in the first instance.

I certainly wouldn't be spending £200 on a dress!!!!!! Ever!!!

Have been looking for help for you. Found this:

    • Keep your feet dry, especially between your toes. Go barefoot to let your feet air out as much as possible when you're home.
    • Go with natural materials. Wear socks that are made of natural material, such as cotton or wool, or a synthetic fiber designed to draw moisture away from your feet.
    • Change socks and stockings regularly. If your feet sweat a lot, change your socks twice a day.
    • Wear light, well-ventilated shoes. Avoid shoes made of synthetic material, such as vinyl or rubber.
    • Alternate pairs of shoes. This allows time for your shoes to dry.
    • Protect your feet in public places. Wear waterproof sandals or shower shoes in communal showers, pools, fitness centers and other public areas.
    • Treat your feet. Use an antifungal powder daily.
    • Don't borrow shoes. Borrowing risks spreading a fungal infection.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Pouring boiling water over them would probably kill the stuff if she hasn't got any fungicide.

They're rubber, but hard/crocs rubber.... rather than jelly/rubber. They're also big and loose and floppy.

Just to back up what Lydia has said.
A pair of cotton deck shoes etc will be far preferable to rubber shoes even if the deck shoes look "enclosed" your skin will be far drier in them than rubber shoes with holes in.
Fungal infections will love those rubber shoes. Please don't wear them for a few weeks.

Edit: even those hard rubber crocs etc. You need to wear cotton socks and some light cotton shoes. That's how feet stay driest and that's what your feet need to be while the treatment works. And yes fungicides take weeks as fungus is very resilient. Don't stop treating as soon as it appears to be improving. It will return. And like nikki I wouldn't worry too much about keeping Daktacort in the fridge. You'll use the tube before it can go off if it's as bad as it sounds.
