It's Roast dinner every sunday at the casa zagubov. Dog gets leftover chicken and sausage throughout week.
Takes three dishwasher runs to get all the stuff clean and can't help feeling I'm doing something wrong.
YBM, you're north of the border, so any advice for GDB's DS moving to study in Edinburgh? Sorry that sounds like a batch of codes! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

We always have 'proper' roast dinners on Sundays - except today when it was a variant, because we had a roast dinner last night.

A basic roast dinner can be cheap .... you can pick up, say, chickens at £3-4 each (less if you are lucky enough to live by a supermarket that has good knock down prices at a time you're passing) .... then what else is there: Yorkshire puddings for about 50p for almost unlimited quantities; roasties - a £1 bag would give you enough roassties to eat all week.... then there's gravy, pennies. Then that stuff they call 'vegetables' .... which can be as cheap as you like, if you go for seasonal ones... or, even tinned carrots/peas can be bought for under 30p for the two. Stuffing: make your own, it's only breadcrumbs, a few herbs, bit of water ....YoungBusinessman wrote: »Once in own place will more than likely have a roast every couple of Sundays...they cant be cheap! Certainly, by the time you've cooked all that lot you can probably easily feed 4 people and have leftovers for well under £5.0
