Is gdb or another of our Jewish cultural advisors?

IIRC the Jewish 'guide book' my cousin and aunt by marriage gave me tells me that altwring the body that God gave us is 'wrong' and tattoos are covered by that. Yet people have hebrew in tattoos.....is this irony on the part of tattoo artists startinga trend, or just ignorance, or is my information wrong? I like to think its the former. I am also always slightly puzzled when people have things done in languages they do not speak or read, chinese lettering etc, unless there was a particular reason....

OH has 2 Georgian and 3 Hebrew tattoos, and also one on her foot that says 'Sopho', just incase she forgets who she is.

OH is Jewish, but doesn't speak a word of Hebrew, so I honestly don't know why she had them done?!

    Dh loves eclairs too.

This is all very odd. I have always adore you but in a sort of looking up to you way, now you are morphing into dh and its a bit freaky.

Tbh, i think eclairs are a little disappointing, but i am sure ypurs are tyhe best there are. Come back to europe and open the restaurant.

I forgot to take my pills today, i will have to ethem later now.

Right, back put to help dh for a bit.:).

The trick with eclairs (and indeed anything with choux pastry) is not to add cream until just before you eat and to cook the pastry the same day you're going to eat it. You can make the pastry the day before though.

@PN: choux pastry is a doddle to make and very cheap too. It is a bit of a faff but the result is excellent. As economists like to say, "There's no such thing as a free lunch".

I've never had a proper English afternoon tea of any sort ... especially not one that posh. I've never had a smoked salmon sandwich (or smoked salmon anything).... nor have I ever had a homemade chocolate eclair. I saw some eclairs being made on the telly the other month - lot of faff. I've probably had a total of 6 eclairs in my life. Love 'em.

We eat salmon once or twice a week (as I've stopped living off takeaways, and the prices that we pay for it is a lot cheaper than the supermarkets (£3 a piece, that comfortably does 2 people...Feed for for a tenner style)

I certainly wouldn't call it posh, but I think that the post alerts are upto Pastures, and not myself ;)

Or buy 4 in Tesco's for £1.80/Dorringtons in the morning for £2.40 and eat them on the way (back) into the office.....They're gorgeous!

I have just got round to opening a small package that was delivered on Friday. I had ordered on-line and the goods are as expected. The packaging however exhorts me to "enjoy the ride".

'scuse the language but !!!!!! this is totally redundant for a pair of flip flops.

You see with a DW and DKs if I don't go to the supermarket this afternoon they won't eat tonight and I won't be able to take the moaning and whimpering later so I have no choice but to go shopping whereas you can choose not to go...

if i was more organised i would order it online, to be delivered at a time when i am out and oh is in. i would have thought a professional shopper would have identified this sort of opportunity!
