Its a shame ben maher and his homebred horse didn't get through. Doing that on a homebred horse (rather than one bought later in life) even getting there tbh, is a rarely fulfilled dream for most equestrians.
I am stumped atm with jorse my heart wants to buy but my head points out i should not, and not just cos of my health. Wish i could share a pic, he is beautiful, beautiful.
i am extremely uncompetitive, i don't think you need to be competitive to like watching sport. all you need is to be lazy!
everyone is screwing up this final round.0 -

I've been ignoring the phone all day, and something that I never say when I'm on holiday (only once a year, plus the occasional weekend) is that I want to go back to work!
I'm tired, I'm stressed, and I really don't want to be looking after someone else's kids at the moment!
8am, CK feels like going back to sleep; not good!

CK, we’re all thinking of you, and appreciate that you were with her and were there for her.
I’m sure you’re tired of people going over this but it might help you feel more at peace if you think of her life here as being complete, and how fitting it was that there was someone from her family present and thinking of her interest and well-being at this point.
Get some rest; you deserve it and she'd want you to have it.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
CK, all of what we told silvercar recently applies to your sad situation, which I'm sure was along the lines of you must look after yourself and give yourself the time to grieve. You've been through a lot with not a great deal of warning (not that it would make what you are dealing with better, but you know what I mean), and with the added stress of being asked to make big decisions on someone else's behalf. If you need more sleep - take it, and don't rush back to work. Take the time to take in what has happened.
Look after yourself and your family
Thanks Nik!
Oh is coming down tonight, and parents again on the 16th, but the notice that I gave OH was 'I've got to go, DD1's coming with me', then discussed it when I got into Georgia.
Things have been difficult; I've not been eating/sleeping properly all week, and have perhaps found myself in Tsfilis Verandis a little bit too much (but don't tell OH that bit!). I've got a pizza (I know, very British) and a bottle of coke at the moment; first I've eaten since Monday!
I'm feeling very tired and very lost; I've got the vital paperwork, but I can't bring myself to sort it out. Even finding some washing I'd brought back from the hospital this morning was too much!

It's 9pm here, so I will be heading to bed shortly. I have an apartment (3 bed) filled with us and 4 kids, so I have a horrible feeling that it's going to drive me mental if I'm not careful!
I need sleep, I have 24 bottles of Georgian wine in the boot of the car....it's tempting, but I think I'll only bring 1 (maybe 2) in!

"hit the food courts and you’ll see signs only for ‘jacket potatoes’, ‘fish and chips’ and ‘drinks’. It’s like walking into an alternative reality, where KFC, Yo Sushi and Starbucks don’t exist. Only McDonalds has crept into this parallel universe, "
Reckon we'll be fine if the queues aren't too huge.
Don't fancy going in the park and then having to exit to go to Westfield for a bite.
Wondering if it was the 'no-branding' that meant my sis didn't notice the different types on offer.0 -
very handy article. Cheers

You can't exit once you're in fc, however I did check for you yesterday. The food stalls I think you'll like the most are labelled Deli. They sell quite nice pre-packed salads and sandwiches as well as pieces of fruit. I bought myself an apple for 70p and a cheese ploughmans sandwich for £3.80. The salads I think were about £6-7. There were also some build your own salad type places. I had lunch at Westfield before going in (c11.30) so I just needed my sandwich for the evening. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
