I looked at flights, but flying isn't the way to get where I'm going ... so it's a boat. It's technically possible to fly, but not practical/sensible, it'd be lunacy (having looked).

Why is Cliff singing (badly) a song I've never heard of? You'd think he'd start with something good.

Last shower (Gary bloke + some unknown bird in a black dress) also sounded "off". Either their all singing badly, or the sound engineer's deaf.

I just found a flight, cheaper than the ferry by a LOT.... but I don't understand what all the "stuff" means. There's a choice of 3 levels of service.... and the budget one's coming up at £48 return... but there's a lot of "stuff" that you only get if you pay more - trouble is, I've never flown, I don't know what that stuff means.

    It's Flybe.

What happens if the plane takes off and you stand up and simply scream???

Glad it's not just me thinking they're all out of tune!

The person in front gets bloody annoyed, probably me, I once had someone screaming for at least 10 minutes after take off from Bangkok a few years ago. Apparently she didn't like flying!

I even c0cked up looking it up on that one site .... I'd put in return, so when I saw £48 I thought that was return. Had to scroll down for the return part, so it's actually £75-100 return (which is cheaper than the ferry still).

I live with a philistine. Am being serenaded by "Just One Cornetto".

Anyone else wonder whether Cliff's teeth didn't fit?

You see... I might discover this once it takes off.

Which is why I don't really want to be on the bottom of the ferry in a seat for 4+ hours ... I'd rather stand on the deck by the railings. I don't know how I am on boats either.

Something was odd about his mouth.... and his trouser length and trouser/shoe combo.
