Has potential, but is singing in the wrong key for her ... and hits some duff notes.

Thank you for telling me how to do my job Pastures :)

The reason for that would be that it took about 20 minutes for a 10yr old to write, and we had 2 weeks to get it ready (as the UKBA are idiots when it comes to ‘urgency’.

Listen to ‘Be my Guest’ by a singer called Gatiana, and you’ll see where DD1 got that one from!

having 2 chocolate eclairs tonight. we've dug 2 beds in the allotment, planted one with beans and 2 courgettes. Second bed is now ready for the climbing beans I've sowed last night.

Changed the greenhouse soil for the tomatoes, planted 5 in. Tomorrow is more weeding.

    My buttocks hurt.

"If I were Queen ... I'd disallow it.

"And look at them - on my balcony .... I hope they took their shoes off or the carpets'll be ruined."

My olds would have loved this - they are from the "Variety Performance" generation, when that was what was on the telly on Saturday nights in the 60s. I grew up HATING variety shows.

I could drive out to the coast and see if I can see any beacons. But it'll be dark out there and I might not see anything ... and it'd be a long way away ... and all that'd be left for me to do would be to drive home again... so I won't bother.

It'll be funny seeing London dark soon - we're 20 minutes behind you for getting dark ...
