Awful again this morning, fire alert or some such nonsense, took 1 hour to get from waterloo to canary wharf, usually no more than 12 minutes actual tube journey.
SCORCHIO .... just got back from the hot, hot, hot beach. Been swimming and sunning myself.... came back, had a shower/washed my hair, swimsuit's in soak ..... and \I'm wearing a long comfy dress.0 -

Wow. The jubilee line actually worked.
An eventful day today. I had four calls with Americans, two with Greeks and two with Brazilians, then to cap it off two UK govt agencies and an ambassador. Pretty sure none of them understood what I was carping on about. I polished it off by running 5k in 22.15 which is my best time ever.0 -
I'll match your Jubilee line with a broken First Capital Connect last night and raise you a double broken down first capital connect today, in the morning it was a random service of slow trains only and nothing had improved by this evening.
I also had several meetings with 'govt agencies' but this is not so surprising as I am working in one at the moment. No doubt I will also see a couple of Spanish later (if they make it back from London).I think....0 -
It's so strange watching GB play. I don't feel the same attachment as to an England game. Possibly because they aren't very good. This is good to know, thanks. DH is going to opening ceremony tomorrow and I said I'd pick him up from the station. I have to go to work at 8am the following morning, so don't really fancy a 3am pick up if everything goes t*ts up.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Want to swap with mine? 8:30-10:00 strategy meeting with boss. 11:00-14:00 group meeting with everyone, 15:30-16:10 final catch up with boss. Good job I like talking to my bossFollowed by one hour running around in a park looking like a dried date.

I've got tickets to the morning session of the Beach Volleyball, at Horseguards parade on Saturday. I'm getting there around 08.00 hours, it starts at 09.00. I'll let you all know how it goes!
I'm going to BV on Weds, so hope you don't mind trev, I'm going to use your feedback if you wouldn't mind giving us some, to plan my journey:o.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Dexter and MadMen I know I like and many people are recommending Breaking Bad. Anything else the NPs find unmissable?
Big Bang Theory is my favourite. Plus of course Sherlock when it comes back for another series. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
