    Yes.

Thanks :D I had one of those moments when if you think of a word too much, it begins to sound made up.

I like that explanation - its because of being relaxed rather than being uptight :D

I also have a fear of balloons - think its linked (as they can burst, obviously). But I really can't stand being near them. The foil helium-filled ones are ok, but not the normal sort. I have been known to cross the street to get away from a balloon.

Another NP who dislikes balloons, dodn't like the bursting making me jump but also don't like them near my head as they distort the sound coming to your ears which makes me feel off balance and giddy - I suspect this may be related to my excessive motion sickness, my brain likes all the signals from ear, inner ear and eyes to be saying the same thing and gets uncomfortable if they give different messages.

I hate the living statue people. When I was little we went to York, and were down a small cobbled street (the smallest street in Britain or something like that) and one jumped out at me. I blame them for making me quite a jumpy person (is jumpy even a word?), and I also get spooked out by waxwork models

You'd not have enjoyed the experience I had at Madame Tussauds involving an actor pretending to be a waxwork at very close proximity, then. I wish I'd kicked that man where it hurt. If I had an the Police had been called, I'm sure I'd have been able to plead self-defence.

Where is NDG? Has she checked in at all this year? :(

Me too. Same thing. It feels really strange, sets my teeth on edge.

Balloons are OK.... until they're in the hands of an idiot that thinks it's funny to burst them 'for fun'.

    I like balloons. :).

Nice builder apologised for making mud today.. I laughed. I should have shown him the fields atm.

He also told me doozergirl is worrying about me. I Am fine. Of course i am stressed, you would have to be a moron not to be, but life goes on. I have not needed painkillers since ..hmm, monday? Sunday? Anyway, i am doing ok. Don't worry :).

The rest of the oak tree went today. My house also looks rather different to the street view image of it now!! I am really enjoying watching the progress, or rather, the demolition. Its way faster than i thought.

Seeing a digger inside you kitchen is an odd sensation though. :)

Just had a completely random thought.... ever thought about holding a Metal Detecting party?

Could be anything buried.... viking helmets, saints crosses.... or 2/6d from 1953.
