I found a piccie of DD's wedding dress I can use. (Will delete later)

Apparently it wasn't quite the bargain I said it was, being about £200 instead of over £1k, but I'm told that's still good. However the bridesmaid dresses were very cheap, including one that was £3 and cannibalised to get bits for the others...or something.

The groom's jacket & hat were old family heirlooms and all our cravats were home made (the others were Cadbury purple! )

The carried/buttonhole flowers were secondhand. We did a deal with the ladies who 'do' the church, to borrow the ones decorating that, run them over to the reception & then take them back on Sunday morning! :rotfl:

Why were you not doing the washing? And are you getting used to her being mrs chewy yet?

(also, has she been hinting about a new washing machine for a while?

It's hard for me to put the washing on during the week given that the last few days ive been leaving at 7am and not getting home until 10pm.

And we're in rented so breaking he washing machine on purpose in an attempt to get a new one probably isn't the smartest idea!

PN, if you do need somewhere to stay for a few weeks, this could cut your costs:

(wonder if they put prices up £10 a night first?!)

    No, definitely wouldn't advise that!
Where I lived last, the washing machine was pretty old. It was also a bit leaky at the bottom. We rented directly from the owner which was good as it saved all the silly £££, but they were slightly PITA. When told that the washing machine was leaky, some plumbers tape was provided and I was given a bottle of aldi washing machine cleaner and told I needed to clean the filter after each use (which involved water going all over the floor each time.
Kept quiet after that. Not my fault they had carpet in the kitchen area, and not my carpet either.

Ok, so i am dressed, perfumed and body creamed. Because the mri nachine will care. I have applied what i think of as my 'invincable makeup', bright turquoise smudge lines under each eye, like war paint but not on my cheeks and deftly drawn on a pair of eyebrows. ( i don't have a complete set of my own). I brushed my teeth four times, so my fillings should look very well cared for.

I have stuffed a metal less bra/ crop top in my hand bag...and a spare pair of knickers, not sure why but seems a good plan.

The dogs have been walked, the cats have been cuddled.

    I am ready to go!
And that concludes our Fashion Tips for the day :)

    All the best.

Seems to be a family thing. His Dad's the same.

I'm not bothered; I don't kiss either of them, even at weddings.:D

No, they start off exceedingly expensive. Their price for a single B&B is £50/night, so they can afford to knock £10 .... they'd make money if it rained every day for every guest.
