Wow, they really are. Ours were....more expensive, but very good.....and not far from you fc123.

I dunno how i feel about disruption. Its quite fun, and exciting. I wipsh i had less otherstuff going on. I think the right people make all the difference. The nice builders don't need me for much, which is good, but also i do not feel out of the loop. E.g. Todaythe structural engineer came and i followed round and l
Istened but could have not if i did not want to.

Generally, i think i am glad We are actioning now.

I am very non MSE on the architect as I left it all to OH who paid him out of his account. I think we are up to about £1500 for detailed plans, planning permission etc and just building controls to do now with a soil test and some other ground test.

We can't wait to do some of it but we need to get other quotes as the firm we wanted to use (who we know is good from other work) came in about 40% more than OH estimated. Snag is we know the work will be superb. Is that worth 40% more cost?
Anyway ..... in my universe.... I think I just "got suited". Just been to see a flat and found myself being accepted/liked and offered it .... so I will get a call tomorrow.

LOVELY woman... VERY well connected locally ... runs her own handbag business .... all online of course. She's clearly a mover/shaker type, this isn't some chav numpty flogging a few old bags at £9.99 each at all. This is top drawer stuff.

Place has a few shortcomings, which I can overlook as it has location, location, location .... and a certain panache by association of saying one lives there.

Lovely room, en-suite (bath!!), huge grounds, almost direct beachio access :)

It's all looking rather splended all round.

Anyway, small detail (hence call tomorrow) of me having to leave here a month before that place is available.... so there's more water to go under several bridges that I need to wade through yet.

If you love it and it felt 'right' do it. Is it on a monthly agreement? If it gets too costly, then you could always leave earlier. The way you are talking sounds like this area is really gelling with you....I love it down there. Some seriously nice shops up to let there too......but OH isn't 'feeling' it.

Maybe after a Sunday stroll and lifestyle chat he may...but I am not convinced..but I want to show him anyway. He wants to go back to Brighton but we couldn't afford space for working from home but your way we could.
When i get tomorrow over and done with i will relax and start the look for the next bra again.

I am also looking for a particular style grown up sort of t shirt, but flattering froma low scoop yoke, i saw on a film recently, but can only think i would have to make it because not seen anything remotely like.

If fc starts a clothing for past it women i will draw it for her And maybe she can make it for her line amd i will buy hundreds in every colour.

It will happen one day....as I now officially have nothing to wear...but no-one is ever 'past- it''....they just move into a different time :)

I'm guessing that they might just say a blanket 'no metal' with no further explanation/ working out what is or isn't magnetic. Might be ok though as the metal should be fairly firmly secured :) I'd be interested in the answer too -general curiosity and my mum might end up having a scan depending on how other tests go.

If the magnetism on my bra strap could budge me so much as a mm then mri scanners would truely rule the universe and be making the planets dance like puppets.
